The final entry in Sam Raimi’s trilogy,Spider-Man 3from 2007, featured a few different antagonists that Peter Parker had to face off against, and the messiest one is about to wreak havoc on Peter and his family.
Marvel has released new detailsaboutUltimate Spider-Man#15 – written by Jonathan Hickman, with art by David Messina – which officiallyreboots another iconic villain for this version of Spidey’s expanding rogues gallery, as Marco Checchetto’s action-packed cover provides the first look at the new Sandman in the Ultimate Universe.

Marvel’s new Ultimate Spider-Man is preparing to face incredibly dangerous threats, and it’s already been confirmed that he has SO much more to lose.
With decades of Marvel history, and a memorable big screen debut asplayed by Thomas Haden Church, the Sandmanwas bound to enter Earth-6160’s canon eventually. However, there seem to be some key differences between this variant and the main continuity version already. Since Sandman will hit the scene with the Parkers on a vacation, he likely won’t be based in the New York area, and also isn’t apart of the budding Ultimate Sinister Sixdespite being in the original lineup. This Sandman could go by the classic alias Flint Marko, William Baker, or be an all-new character entirely.
