Even though Dwight is a gangster and has committed some terrible crimes, he still lives by a code of honor. For example, he refused to rat on Caolan Waltrip, and he’s shown his strong sense of justice multiple times. It’s precisely because Dwight has a strong sense of morality that he let Stacy go: he understood that she could have lost her job because of him, and he respected her as a person. The fact that he brought a gun shows that he was very maddened and hurt by her betrayal, especially considering their past relationship, but his personal morality won out.
What’s Happening To Tyson In Tulsa King Season 2
Tyson’s Character Development Is Taking A Dark Turn
Aside from Dwight’s forgiveness, his meeting with Stacy had another surprising moment. After Dwight left her house, Tyson showed a rare moment of true darkness as he told Dwight that he would have helped him kill Stacy. The moment quickly passed, and Tyson and Dwight laughed about it shortly after, but it was still surprising that Tyson was so willing to kill a woman. That scene proved that Tyson is doubling down on becoming a gangster, and that his criminal lifestyle is affecting him. It may also be evidence thatTulsa Kingseason 2 will see Tyson go even further down that dark road.

How Armand Truisi’s Marital Problems Will Affect Tulsa King Season 2
Armand Could Be A Big Threat To Dwight’s Gang
Another member of Dwight’s gang who has taken a surprising turn in the premiere ofTulsa Kingseason 2 was Armand Truisi (Max Casella).Despite the fact that Armand warmed up to the idea of working for Dwight inTulsa Kingseason 1, even viewing it as a way to take control of his life and stop running, his doubts have returned. Much of that is fueled by the fact that Armand’s wife left him and took his kids away, and he now has to pay child support and make money for Dwight. Armand is in a bad situation, and his personal problems could become issues for several other people.
Armand is in a bad situation, and his personal problems could become issues for several other people in Tulsa King season 2.
There are a few big ways Armand’s marital problems could affectTulsa Kingseason 2. The most obvious was already shown in the season premiere: Armand is drinking heavily, which is affecting his ability to be an effective member of the gang. It got him kicked out of the benefit dinner early, and it could get worse as the season goes on.It’s also possible that Armand’s problems will only compound throughoutTulsa Kingseason 2, and he could be driven to do something rash, like trying to get rid of Dwight by working with one of his enemies, like Cal Thresher or Chickie.
Dwight’s Wind Turbine Scam Explained
Is Dwight Really Going Legit?
Immediately after getting out of jail, Dwight started working on his next big money-making scheme: wind farms.Dwight got the idea from one of his cellmates, Harlan, who had abused the federal government’s subsidies for clean energy and wind turbines. Dwight’s plan for the wind turbines was a bit confusing, though, especially since he mentioned that he wanted to start going legit. While it is a complicated scheme, and Dwight has only briefly outlined it,Tulsa Kingdid reveal a few details that prove he’s not really abandoning his criminal ways.
Essentially, Dwight wants to do the same thing Harlan did: use the federal government’s subsidies to fund a wind farm. Where the plans diverge, however, is in what Dwight wants to do with those subsidies. Instead of gambling them, Dwight is going to complete the wind farm and use the remaining subsidies to purchase essentially free energy. He’s then planning to use that energy to power a hydroponic farm for Jimmy’s weed operation. That would both upgrade Jimmy’s farm - as hydroponic farms produce more weed faster than traditional farms - and give Bodhi and the Even Higher Plane extremely cheap marijuana, effectively multiplying everybody’s profits.
Why Chickie Invernizzi Killed Goodie Carangi’s Friend, Jerry Izzo
Chickie Killed Jerry As A Show Of Force & A Warning To Goodie
One of the final surprises ofTulsa Kingseason 2, episode 1 was when Chickie called Goodie just to let him listen to Jerry die. Chickie’s decision to kill Jerry was a bit of a surprise, given that earlier in the episode Jerry had been helping him. That conversation also explains why Chickie killed Jerry: to show the New York mobsters that he’s still the boss. Jerry had mentioned that other gangsters and crime families were losing faith in Chickie’s leadership ability and even accusing him of killing Pete, so Chickie killed Jerry to show that he was not to be messed with.
Goodie’s departure from the family was one of the reasons the other mobsters thought Chickie couldn’t handle being a mob boss, so Chickie wanted to get back at him.
Chickie had another reason for killing Jerry, though, and that was to send a personal message to Goodie. In the finale ofTulsa Kingseason 1, Goodie betrayed Chickie and joined Dwight’s crew in Tulsa. His departure from the family was one of the reasons the other mobsters thought Chickie couldn’t handle being a mob boss, so Chickie wanted to get back at him.Goodie and Jerry weren’t particularly good friends, but they were both part of the gang, and Jerry’s death will likely weigh on Goodie’s conscience, which is exactly what Chickie wanted.
Dwight’s New Enemies Explained: Who Are Cal Thresher & Bill Bevilaqua
Thresher & Bevilaqua Don’t Want Dwight Cutting Into Their Profits & Territory
The biggest reveal of the premiere ofTulsa Kingseason 2 was its new villains: Cal Thresher (Neal McDonough) and Bill Bevilaqua (Frank Grillo).Cal Thresher is a business person based out of Oklahoma who made a fortune off the oil industry and expanded his dynasty into the legal weed industry. He’s now the largest weed distributor in Oklahoma and, as Margaret Devereaux claimed, “richer than God.” Thresher and Dwight have already gotten off to a bad start because Thresher sees Dwight and the Even Higher Plane as a threat to his business.
I’m Convinced Tulsa King Season 2’s Villains Will Be Much Better Than Caolan Waltrip
Tulsa King season 2 has added two major new villains, and they might be able to elevate the show even higher than Caolan Waltrip ever could.
The second new antagonist inTulsa Kingseason 2, Bill Bevilaqua, is a bit more of a mystery.Bill Bevilaqua is a mob boss based out of Kansas City, on the border between Missouri and Kansas, almost 300 miles away from Tulsa. It’s not yet clear how Bevilaqua gets his money, but he does have ties to Thresher, which is how Dwight got on his radar.Tulsa Kingalso revealed that Bevilaqua knew about Dwight from his days as a New York mobster, which could mean that Bevilaqua himself started his criminal career back East as well.
Both Cal Thresher and Bill Bevilaqua have their reasons for going up against Dwight Manfredi. Thresher sees Dwight as a threat to his profit margin, as his growing weed business could soon cut into Thresher’s operation. Bevilaqua, on the other hand, sees Dwight as encroaching upon his territory. Different gangs often don’t mix well, and even though Tulsa is a long way from Kansas City, Bevilaqua likely wants to make sure Dwight never gets a chance to spread his operation there. With Bill Bevilaqua and Cal Thresher, the rest ofTulsa Kingseason 2 is sure to be exciting.
