The different editions ofA Court of Thorns and Rosesbooks can make for fun and special events for longtime fans of the series.Written by Sarah J. Maas,A Court of Thorns and Rosesis one of the most popular romantasy book seriesof all time and has amassed a significant following because of how the story transports the reader to the world of Pyrthian. The majority of the story follows Feyre, a young human who gets swept up in the world of the magical Fae and their courts, which are in constant conflict.
By book 2, Feyre realizes that though she fell in love with Tamlin in the Spring Court, Rhysand and the Night Court hold her heart. After this, the story is rooted in the Night Court, which sparked these special editions of the books. However, theNight Court editions ofA Court of Thorns and Rosesare controversialfor a number of reasons. It’s difficult to make any special edition exciting and unique enough to encourage fans to buy copies, and so far,the Night Court novels need to distinguish themselves further to turn heads.

ACOTAR’s Night Court Books Would Work Better If The Other Courts Got Special Editions
This would increase the value of the Night Court editions
There have been a few different editions ofA Court of Thorns and Rosesbooks, but the Night Court editions are some of the most unpopular.Fans and critics have discussed how these versions of the series don’t add much to the reader’s experience,as the only real difference is in the cover design. While these stylistic changes are engaging, and the version ofA Court of Silver Flameshas a bonus chapter, this isn’t enough to make a wide array of readers want to buy books so similar to the existing versions.
Releasing special editions with additional bonus chapters and interesting layouts and colorways would make the Night Court editions all the more unique.

However, there could be an easy way to make the Night Court editions even more exclusive.Every Pyrthian Fae court inA Court of Thorns and Rosesdeserves its own special edition ofACOTAR. At the very least, all the major courts should get their own editions, like the Spring, Day, and Winter, and all the other major players in the series. Releasing special editions with additional bonus chapters and interesting layouts and colorways would make the Night Court editions all the more unique.

A Court Of Thorns & Roses Could Start An Anniversary Trend With The Night Court Books
This year would be the perfect time to expand upon the Night Court series
With the 10th anniversary ofA Court of Thorns and Roseson the horizon, fans are expecting a lot out of any upcoming special editions. This makes it an ideal time to expand the special edition versions of the series, following the trend of using the anniversaries as the template. Ifnew editions were released on the 15th, 20th, and other significant anniversaries, this would space out the releases, so readers wouldn’t be overwhelmed and would have time to get excited in between each new drop.
Hulu’s Court Of Thorns & Roses Show Must Give One Rhysand Story More Attention Than The Books
Rhysand is one of the best characters in ACOTAR, and some of his storylines deserve more attention as the books are adapted to the screen.
One of thebiggest problems with the Fae inA Court of Thorns and Rosesis the warring factions represented through the courts. It’s not just the Night and Spring courts who come into conflict with each other, as the Fae hold grudges and have many enemies among their own people. Despite this, there’s still something interesting about every court that would make for an interesting addition to the visual canon of the series. Giving readers something to look forward to with fun editions ofA Court of Thorns and Roseswill help the franchise’s longevity.
