While the other stories are new and exciting in their own ways, the Greg and Belinda storyline creates a great connection to past seasons. However, their current tension feels too obviously threatening for either of them to be the victim.
The White Lotus Has Teased Greg Trying To Kill Belinda - But I Don’t Buy It
The Death Would Be Far Too Obvious
Given Greg’s past and his role in Tanya’s death, he is definitely capable of killing, but it just doesn’t seem like a logical step that he is going to take in the coming episodes. Him inviting Belinda and her son to his house is definitely creepy, but it does not necessarily mean that he is going to murder her. In fact, murdering Belinda would be completely unnecessary for Greg if he is trying to cover up his crimes, sinceanother death around Greg would effectively draw more attention to him and the inconsistencies in his story.
Especially since Greg told Chloe about the party and asked for her help, it seems unlikely that he would be trying to lure Belinda there for anything too bad.
Additionally,Belinda has not really done that much to imply that she would take real action against Greg by herself. She told Fabian about Greg, and he did not believe her or seem willing to help at all. Beyond Fabian, the only people she has expressed her fear to are Pornchai and her son, and neither of them seem to have any plans to do anything to Greg either. Especially since Greg told Chloe about the party and asked for her help, it seems unlikely that he would be trying to lure Belinda there for anything too bad.
He Could Use It As A Way To “Honor” Tanya
Rather than Greg planning to kill Belinda,The White Lotus’s final episodes could see him trying to offer her something that she desperately wants to keep her quiet. Right now, Belinda knows that Tanya died under suspicious circumstances and that Greg was avoiding being questioned, but she does not know enough of the specifics to definitely send him to jail.This could allow Greg to still try to configure himself as the good guyand someone who is willing to help Belinda in order to honor Tanya’s memory.
Since audiences already saw Greg stalking Belinda online, he likely learned a fair amount about her and her son, meaning thathe knows how important the money would be for her business plans. Since Greg inherited all of Tanya’s money, he is presumably very rich and could likely part with enough of that money to keep Belinda quiet and focused on her own ambitions. Considering how long Belinda has now been waiting for the chance to start her own spa and how much she has been through, it could be precisely the thing she would go for.

Belinda has been through a lot during her two seasons onThe White Lotus. First, she had to take responsibility for Tanya while she was feeling unwell over the death of her mother. Then, when the two started to grow closer, Tanya left Belinda without keeping her promises about going into business together.If anyone deserved to have a good season 3 arc, it was Belinda. Instead, she is scared about Greg’s plans for her, but taking his money could finally set her free.
Taking money from Tanya’s murderer to finally start her spa would change Belinda’s career, but it would also be very morally complicated.

Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya McQuoid isn’t in The White Lotus season 3, and while she is missed by fans, there is already a perfect replacement.
Seeing Belinda choose to take the money from Greg would certainly speak to how money changes people, even though it is arguably the ending that she always deserved. A scenario like this would be interesting to explore what Belinda is willing or unwilling to accept to ignore Tanya’s death and to leave Pornchai behind to start her own business. An ending where Greg chooses to bribe Belinda to give her what she wants, allows her the happiness she deserves, but it also adds that bittersweet feeling thatThe White Lotushas created before.
