Our Take: Now Is The Time To Snag Some Of The Switch’s Best Titles
Nintendo Doesn’t Do Sales As Often As Other Consoles
I’m what’s considered online a “patient gamer,” preferring to wait for a title to iron out all its launch issues and go on sale before I snag it. However, as a Switch user, this can sometimes meanwaiting a long time before I can get a hold of a game I want for a good price. Nintendo just doesn’t seem to have sales as often as some other platforms, and while I’ve been guilty of getting too many Steam games because they were heavily discounted, I only have a small handful of select Switch games at the moment.
Which is why if you’ve been waiting for a title that’s now gone on sale, the Nintendo holiday sale is the perfect time to get a hold of it.Nintendo’s sale this year includes many Switch console must-haves. And with theSwitch 2 potentially looming on the horizon, it’s a better time than ever to finally play a classic Switch game likeAnimal Crossing: New HorizonsorSuper Mario Oddysey, beforeNintendomoves on to its next console project.
