Zelda leads the way, while players also get answers in terms of theZeldaseries, such aswhy Link hasn’t talked. In addition to the protagonist change, the gameplay is driven by magic, specifically Echoes, rather than the typical physical combat. Zelda travels across Hyrule, to rescue Link as well as the kingdom. She runs into his echo several times, but during the endgame, players can find him before entering the final dungeon in the Still Ancient Ruins, after defeating Link’s impostor.
Null Is The Final Boss In Echoes Of Wisdom
Once Link And Zelda Are Reunited, Together They Take Down The Final Boss
Null, the final boss, isfound when entering his lair in the dungeon,at the point of no return. Before facing it, the two must take down a variety of enemies, and then the forgottenZeldaantagonist makes a return. It also changesZeldahistory by being this villian behind the scenes, influencing everything and by positioning itself as an opposition to the goddesses, tying back to the series' past, as stated byCBR.
A being that lived in the void,Null tries to separate the couple to make them weak and distracted,to continue its mission of returning the world to nothingness, so Null can consume everything in chaos.

Where Does Echoes Of Wisdom Take Place On The Zelda Timeline?
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is full of details and moments that hint at where exactly this new game fits on the Zelda timeline.
Set later in theZeldatimeline,Null seeks to obtain all the prime energy so it can open rifts across the kingdom, while also consuming Hyrule, starting this final boss battle. Despite Null’s tomfoolery, Zelda and Link team up to take it down using a combination of their approaches to combat. It is important to focus on Null’s limbs first,as it uses them to attack while also cornering them.

The best way to defeat Null is tograb a limb during one of his shockwave attacks using a bind as Zelda, and Link will then be able to break the arm after doing this three times for each limb. Link is not playable, but as an NPC, he will attack Null during the fight automatically.
Once all limbs are removed, Null has no mode of movement for a moment, giving both characters a chance to inflict more damage, until Null implodes into a weaker form, demanding it needs more.

Null tries to escape from them into a void, but Tri encourages them to follow after it, Link is stopped by limbs that appear from the floor, leaving Zelda facing the boss by herself. The spotlight is on Zelda, and rightfully so; she uses this moment to apply all the skills learned throughout the game, and show how she is capable of taking down a monster too, like Zelda.
Fire and Electronic Wizzrobe echoes are best for Null’s body, and Lizalfos Lv.3 Echo.

During this moment, Zelda is swimming after Null;it’s important to use Zora’s flippers, scale, and strong echoesthat allow her to breathe underwater and to keep up with it.As Null is currently defenseless, it relies on Vocavors, but just avoid them and uses the echoes to bind them to Null’s remaining limbs to attack it. Avoid any whirlpools too, and just focus on the final boss, using air bubbles to keep goingtill Null collapses, attacking the body as done earlier with Link once weak.
Finish Null & Save The World
Null Tries To Escape Zelda, Only To Face Her And Link Again
Like the last time, Null flees using a portal, returning them to the dungeon with Link. Despite all the wins, Null appears to have evolved, now having six limbs and more attacks, not to mention other enemies to join his side in this battle. Just like the first time with Link, they work together to remove each limb, to then attack his body.
Once Null gets significantly weaker,it will hide in the walls, but just be sure to use Zelda’s echoes to fight the other enemies. For this round,Null summons Seismic Taelus or Mogryph. It is important that the two focus on its limbs. Null will eventually return, with all six limbs back, forcing gamers to repeat the same steps they just did.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom - 10 Best Echoes For Traversal
Traversal Echoes make navigating and traveling around Hyrule easier for Princess Zelda. Here are the 10 best Echoes for traversal in Echoes of Wisdom.
It will take more time as well to fully defeat it.For the second round, it will summon three Ganon and two Skorchillto help fight, andthe last Null will call upon Lizalfos and Gohma. For all the enemies, there is usually one that attacks by spinning across the given space, while the other either charges towards the player or sends attacks. All are also shadows of the enemy.
The third time, it will also go into the walls when weak, but stick its limbs out to attack and summon enemies. With Gohma, be sure to also burn down her cobwebs, but otherwisefocus on Null and healing between attacks with drinks and avoiding damage by dodging Null’s arms.Killing the shadows will also help. After Gohma places webs, Mogryph will attack with three tornados.
Electric Keese and Torch Slug Echoes are great for burning the cobwebs.
Lastly, Null will summon eleven shadow Ganons, a shadow Seismic Talus, and three shadow Skorchills.Be sure to still avoid them and their attacks, attacking Null only. By doing this, gamers will eventually have the opportunity to finally stop Null. It will crash onto the ground, causing a quick time event whereZelda and Link pull out an upside-down triangle, potentially being the missing piece from the Triforce center, as noted byDaku Rinku.

Pulling it out batters Null, which gives players the triangle, now flipped, completing the Triforcefrom a piece from both of Zelda and Link, now symbolically uniting them for good, as much as Null wanted it for darkness. The Triforce brightens the whole dungeon, to the point the light is blinding, completing the quest, “The Prime Energy and Null.”
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Review - The Zelda I Was Waiting For
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom combines the freedom of recent titles with the structure of classic games, and it’s absolutely worth playing.
At that moment, it seems to transport them all with Tri to a brighter environment, where they are floating on this small island with other fairies, like Tri’s friends at the Upper Zora River as mentioned byGame Rant,in the sky surrounding the Triforce. Even though nothing is said, Tri looks at them both, glowing, almost thanking them for bringing order back.
Tri spins and launches further into the sky, like a comet, with other fairies following behind, imploding near The Great Deku Tree, bringing light back into the world of Hyrule. The light fixes all the cracks throughout the map and returns all the people and animals, bringing life back too.
All the fairies then isolate Zelda, having her float in a white environment, where Tri tells her personally that the rifts will disappear and peace will return. Tri also reassures her that everything will be okay now that Null is gone, allowing the fairies to return to the goddesses but also forcing Tri to part ways with Zelda.
This news saddens Zelda, even though she saved everyone, the thought of being separated overwhelms her. At this moment, Tri tries to comfort her, reflecting on how Zelda has had a positive impact, thanking her for everything while also allowing Tri to understand emotions such as thankfulness and gratitude. They hold hands for a moment before Tri floats away with the other fairies.
If you complete the game without dying, you get an extra during the credits.
Afterward, Zelda teleports back to the courtyard in front of the castle with Link as well.Being united with Link and seeing all her kingdom’s people back pushes her sadness away and replaces it with happiness. The King first jumps to recognizing Link for saving everyone, but for once now, Link redirects the credit to Zelda, deservingly. At the end ofThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Zelda looks into the sky, holding her staff out with both hands, also thanking Tri in a way.
