Over onThe First Descendant’s official X(formerly Twitter) page,Nexon posted a detailed breakdown of Patch 1.1.0, starting with the addition of Descendant Hailey Scott.

Hailey and Ult Freyna from The First Descendant

The icy sniper is best suited for players who want to hang back from the action and dispense damagefrom a distance, a strategy enforced by her Passive Skill “Safe Strategic Retreat” which increases Weak Point Damage when attacking from afar. Hailey’s active abilities, including Cryo Round and Storm Snare, apply the Cyro status debuff to make enemies slower and more vulnerable to all incoming attacks and damage types.

Making A More Streamlined Game

Hailey Scott is the tip of Patch 1.1.0’s icebergasthe update also brings with it a new episode to advance the game’s ongoing story and also adds Invasion Dungeons, a type of mission that can only be played solo. These Dungeons will sport different mechanics depending on which Vulgus Legion is encountered within; To name a couple, the Legion of Immortality requires Descendents to overload a “Phase Separation Veil” by killing enemies, while the Legion of Darkness prompts players to “disable the encryption system sealed with Inversion Energy” to complete the challenge.

As for smaller quality-of-life improvements, one of the biggest is that Encrypted Vaults now have visual hints for players trying to track them down.Previous builds only featured audio hints, making it sometimes impossible for players who are hard of hearing to locate Encrypted Vaults. Nexon has also increased the experience reward for completing Hard Infiltration Operations, making the activity much more lucrative for the time it expects from players.
