Not all landing spots are created equally inFortnite. Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces many changes to the island, which means that you will need to find the best landing spots once again. This is normally fine, as those who’ve played long enough can tell whata good landing spot is based on what’s around it. However, newer players may be confused and not understand what to look for and what’s worth it.

While it may seem like you should just go straight for open cities or to bosses, that’s not very recommended. Landing spots need to be clear of enemies, have great gear, or at least give you a chance to get things they may need. Anyone playing the game to beat a boss shouldjust go straight for the weaponsthey want and to the boss because storm circles can be punishing. These landing zones do not apply to thenewFortniteOG mode, just to the main battle royale mode.

7Magic Mosses

The Rare Chest In The Forest

Magic Mosses is a great forested area to land inFortniteChapter 6 Season 1. This may seem like a strange location to go to, but it’s actually a hidden gem. There is a rare chest here and a bunch of other random chests. It’s in your best interest to get here firstbecause the rare chest will have the best weapons around, and using it on enemies will be smart.

All Fortnite Crew Subscription Changes In Chapter 6 Season 1

If you happen to get into a fight with another player, there are nine slurp barrels around, so you’ll get healed fairly quickly. There are also way more chests than you need, and plenty are bound to have healing items ready for you. So it’s like being dropped onto the perfect starting area in terms of advantages in combat.

These new spots mean thatolder reload landing zonesare no longer the best to go to.

Once you’ve looted everything here, head south toward the roadand follow iteast. You’ll find a car just waiting there, which makes things much easier because you can drive anywhere you need to. Alternatively, pumped powder is only a bit further east and has a few more cars to use.

6Canyon Crossing

Some Easy Loot And A Car To Go With It

Canyon Crossing is a great way to start aFortniteChapter 6 Season 1 match. This is because there are plenty of vehicles around. There’s a trailsmasher, a regular car, and bikes all around. There are plenty of chests, too, but this is an excellent way to get a vehicle that can provide the protection needed while driving from place to place.

From here, you can use powerful vehicles to get to whatever area they want. Nightshift Forest, Burd, and Warrior’s Watch are nearby, which are great next locations to go to. So, this is more ofa landing spot that is literally only there to landandthen used to get to another spot safely.

Are you excited about Godzilla coming to Fortnite?

It’s recently been announced that the next season of Fortnite will feature Legendary’s Godzilla in some fashion. Personally, I’m hoping it’s more than just cosmetics and that a full-size Godzilla might start roaming the island. That would be similar to Call of Duty: Warzone a few years ago when Godzilla vs. Kong was released in 2021, and I thought that was so much fun.

Many areaswill be swarmed with enemieswho will have lowered health because of the firefights that come from landing in a similar area as others. If you show up in a trailsmasher or vechile, armed to the teeth, with a lot of health, it’s pretty much over for anyone else who tries to get in your way.

5Burd

Did You Know That Burd Is The Word?

Burd is theFortniteequivalent to Buc-ee’s, but it’s nowhere near as large as Buc-ees. This is where you want to go for immediate action. An excellent landing zone list would not be complete without a place where many players gather close to take each other out quickly. If you like fights, you’re going to Burd, and we bet a skin is coming soon.

Once you’re done lootingthe extraordinary amount of chestsin this small area, make sure to get through the slur barrels. Only the winner of the immediate fight that happens here will get out alive, and you’ll need the extra healing. Also, plenty more players will be coming by foot or vehicle, so it’s a good idea to get ready for a fight immediately after you survive the landing battles.

When you’re done, verify toleave the back door openbecause there is a vehicle outside that way. There’s another one to the west, but that’s closer to the entrance, where you’ll be out in the open. It’s better for stealth if you go out the back, grab the vehicle, and take off from there.

4Lost Lake

A Diamond Hidden In The Rough

Lost Lake is a gem because it has a lot of chests, but many players stay awaybecause of other landing locations. This makes it a prime spot for those who want to prepare before going out onto the map and fighting another player. Essentially, this is probably the best landing zone if you want to strategize your next move.

The best strategy is toland on a roof and make your way inside from there. Plenty of chests are in the buildings, so you can load up and decide where to go from there. There are also vehicles around for you to grab and drive off with, but since this area is far from some of the better locations, it’s best to wait for the circle to start closing before you take off.

If you go to where the circle is shrinking, you won’t waste time and can think up a strategy from there. It’s generally a good idea tohead southeast to get closerto the center of the map, but you’re prepared for any fight along the way.

3Shogun’s Solitude

Where The Shogun Lives

Shogun’s Solitude is excellent not just forthe chests and everything scattered aroundbut also for the Job Board. Job boards are hard to find inFortnite, and the area is pretty secluded. So it’s a good idea to head straight to the job board after landing if this is why you’re dropping in.

Other than that, there area few bikes around for you to take off in. Inside the main castle will be dozens of chests, but get ready for a fight if you want them. Shogun’s Solitude is normally swarmed with players who want to take everyone else out. So don’t think you’re getting in and out without a real fight.

you may also just take the launch pad from here to Canyon Crossing instead of the road.

A good idea would be to take theroad northeast to Canyon Crossing. There’s a bike at the exit, and there are plenty of items at Canyon Crossing. Make sure to rush because the bike is a long distance when running, and other players are likely coming your way from the same route you’re taking.

2Masked Medows

A Great Small Trip To Make

Masked Meadows is a good general area to go to inFortniteChapter 6 Season 1. There’s a bunch ofcars, a Job board, chests, and Slurp Barrels. There’s plenty for other players too, so you’re more likely to avoid a fight if you grab your car and leave soon after landing.

Fortnite Is Trying To Be Like Roblox (& I’m Convinced It’s Going To Work)

Fortnite is undergoing some changes in the way it presents its user-created content, and they’re going to look very familiar to Roblox users.

This area is where you are likely to land with someone else because it’s popular, and there are few chests around. Do yourself a favor and land on the building in the southwestern corner.Go inside and grab the chest there. There are more chests in this building than there are in others. These are close to each other, so it won’t take long to grab a weapon to use in a fight.

Otherwise, you canjust grab your stuff and take off with the TrailSmasherright in front of your building. So it’s pretty much the prime starting spot for those who want to grab and go. There’s not much time to take a break because fights start here pretty often, but if you know what you’re doing, it’s a prime location.

1Seaport City

The Best City Around

Seaport City is definitely one of the best landing spots introduced in Chapter 6, Season 1 ofFortnite. This is becauseit’s a small town, so there won’t be many other players, there’s a lot of gear around, and there’s a lot of cars around. There are four areas in town with a car, which means you can take gear and drive to the next location quickly. There’s also a job board in town, so taking a car from this area makes getting to the destination a breeze.

Seaport City is the best spot on this list and should be one of the places you visit the most.

Another huge boost is the fact that there area lot of Slurp Barrels. So, if you get into firefights, there’s almost a guarantee that healing items are nearby. This makes it much better than many other areas, just because you can leave the town as if a fight never happened thanks to healing items, which is more than other areas can offer.

This location is hiddenclose to the southeast part of the map. This may be far from anything happening, but it’s not a big deal with one of the nearby cars. Essentially, you can take your ride and drive into the sunset with no problem at all. It’s a great spot to start a match inFortnite.
