Thomas' statement that the hate was based off of a"character"that the show created is interesting. He was often seen exploding in anger at his fellow contestants such as Devin Strader and Sam Nejad, especially when he felt that they were being disrespectful by stealing Jenn away.Thomas seems to be implying that some of that drama wasn’t as real as it lookedbecause he said,“I also got soooo much love and support from yall too and that means so much to me and my family that you can see through this.”
Thomas' last comment implies thatThe Bacheloretteseason 21 producers created a character for him based on his worst moments, which he thinks that fans should’ve been able to see through.It was very convenient that Sam N.interrupted Thomas when he was having a heart-to-heart conversation with Jenn about his family.
