As valuable as an Avengers induction is, it is more important to value the people in one’s life who show up for them regularly and vice versa, as She-Hulk recognizes.
She-Hulk has been an Avengers member on and off throughout her superhero career, but lately, Carol Danvers – one of Jen’s closest friends – brought She-Hulk back into the fold. While Jen never officially accepted the full-time offer,She-Hulk#10 shows how she has been going on missions lately as a part-time recruit, with the expectation she’ll eventually decide to go full-time. She joins Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on missions, sits in on meetings, goes to parties parties, and is even expected to attend a galactic peace treaty ceremony.
Instead, Jen prioritizes helping her friends Karkas and Ransak the Reject fight an eviction notice; it’s not an easy decision for Jen to make, but upon further reflection, while getting dressedin her hero costume, she has a change of heart, focusing on what really matters.
