IntheAhsokaseason 1 ending, Ahsoka and Sabine Wren found themselves trapped on Peridea, essentially swapping places withGrand Admiral Thrawnand Ezra Bridger.

Although Ahsoka seemed in no rush to find a way off the planet and back to the main galaxy, presumably, she will want to return home to help the New Republic fend off Thrawn and the threat he poses. While it may have taken Ezra years to find his way off the planet, Ahsoka and Sabine might have a much easier time getting home. In fact, theStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalkervisual dictionary, written by Pablo Hidalgo, may have already revealed exactly how Ahsoka and Sabine can get off Peridea, according to this theory.

Ahsoka Season 2: Story, Updates, Everything We Know

Ahsoka season 2 is confirmed and has received exciting new story and filming updates. Here’s everything we know about the Star Wars project.

Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka season 1 saw the return of Ezra Bridger following his disappearance inStar Wars Rebels, but it wasn’t a straightforward rescue mission. Rather,Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren ended up trapped on Peridea themselves, the very planet on which Ezra had been stranded for years. However, this planet’s significance and power mean that a very interesting story is to come inAhsokaseason 2.

Peridea is clearly incredibly powerful in the Force.

Specifically, Peridea is clearly incredibly powerful in the Force. For one, it is currently home tothe Nightsisters of Dathomir,Star Wars’Force-sensitive witches who have proven time and again the immense power they wield. Moreover, asAhsokaseason 1 revealed,Peridea has statues of the Mortis Gods, beings whose significance was introduced inStar Wars: The Clone Wars. Although this arc was wiped from Ahsoka’s memory, she in fact already has a history with them.

Mortis Gods Explained: Star Wars History, Powers, Planet & Importance

The Mortis gods are some of Star Wars’ most powerful Force-wielders, and Dave Filoni is using them to unite The Clone Wars, Rebels, and now Ahsoka.

The Gods—the Father, the Son, and the Daughter—represent balance in the Force, the light side, and the dark side, respectively. They are therefore some ofStar Wars’most powerful Force-sensitive beings. In light of the Mortis Gods iconography and the presence of the Nightsisters, it’s clear thatPeridea is incredibly rich in the Force. In fact, it’s quite likely that this planet isa vergence in the Force, meaning it has a very deep connection to the Force itself and serves as a sort of hot spot.

The World Between Worlds Can Be Accessed From Any Vergence

Given the likelihood that Peridea is a Force vergence,The Rise of Skywalkervisual dictionary may have already revealed how Ahsoka will make her way home. Specifically, the World Between Worldsis also called a “Vergence Scatter.” This means that, through the World Between Worlds, Ahsoka can travel between vergences, giving her a straightforward exit strategy off Peridea.

The World Between Worlds is also called a “Vergence Scatter.”

This would also make sense, given that Ahsoka already has ample experience with the World Between Worlds and, notably, it was heavily featured inAhsokaseason 1. Where exactly Ahsoka would end up with this strategy, of course, remains to be seen; however, it could easily mean Ahsoka making her way back to the mainStar Warsgalaxy. Although it isn’t confirmed, this ‘Vergence Scatter’ may very well be Ahsoka Tano’s way off Peridea inStar Wars’upcomingAhsokaseason 2.
