Tim Drake’s perfect qualities as a Robin are on display inThe Boy Wonder#3 by Juni Ba and Chris O’Halloran. In this story,Damian Wayne and Tim Drakeare invited to a luxurious party by the Mayor of Gotham City, Oswald Cobblepot. As a mockery, Oswald has adorned the party with statues of the Justice League even as he holds a party for the world’s most corrupt people.

While at this party, Damian believes that Tim is simply mingling for his own benefit, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only does Tim spend the party gathering information and evidence on the world’s most corrupt people, but as Red Robin, he also previously stole the head off the Batman statue as a statement: Batman doesn’t represent these “villains.“Tim clearly values Batman’s reputation even more than Bruce himself.

Tim’s Robin stands outamong all the others because Tim actively chose to be Robin. While Dick Grayson and Jason Todd fell into the role, Tim actively sought out Batman, becoming Robin to protect Bruce Wayne from darkness. Since then,Tim has continually been a great Robin and has embodied a lot of Batman’s teachings, which are on full display at the Cobblepot party. Tim effortlessly plays the aloof billionaire only interested in himself and manages to easily gather information and evidence on major characters such as Lex Luthor and Oswald Cobblepot.
Time and time again, Tim Drake has proven that he’s Batman’s best Robin.

Tim Dake has consistently gone above and beyond for Batman and the Bat-Family. When Batman was seemingly killed inFinal CrisisbyGrant MorrisonandJ. G. Jones, every member of the Bat-Family thought Bruce was dead. It was only Tim, in hisRed Robinsolo series, who continually searched for Batman and eventually found proof that he was still alive.
When Failsafe seemingly vaporized Batmanin Chip Zdarsky and Jorge Jiménez’sBatmanrun, everyone again thought Bruce was dead, and yet Tim was convinced Bruce was simply lost in the multiverse. Once again,Tim Drake’s Robin managed to find and save Batman.Time and time again, Tim Drake has proven that he’s Batman’s best Robin.

Tim Drake Has Never Given Up on Batman
Batman’s Most Loyal Robin
Tim has proven over and over that not only has he taken all of Batman’s lessons to heart, but that he’ll never give up on Batman either. The other Robins all have conflicting feelings about Batman, and there have been several instances where they’ve either cut contact with him or truly believed he was dead. Tim has never done either of these. Tim Drake fully believes in Batman’s mission, and he’s gone as far as taking Bruce’s place at corrupt parties just to get information in his stead — all while destroying an insulting statue — which is just one of the many reasons Tim Drake isBatman’smost loyal and greatestRobin.
