Disney Dreamlight Valleyis a popular life simulator that brings in familiar Disney characters for players to interact with as they explore and build up their valleys. It is certainly a large game, with a plethora of new content being added all the time, and yet has been made available on every major gaming platform. Due to this, it can occasionally run into a few minor glitches and issues that players might stumble across while playing. Though often they are not enough to break the game, they can cause some double takes.
One of these little problems in the game occurred in the valley of Reddit userIndependent_Brick547, who posted a picture of their screen to show a rather creepy-looking scene. Mirabel, usually a cheerful character who is active and gleeful, isseen lying at an angle suspended in the air, straight as a board, with a haunted look on her face.

Somewhat suspiciously,Jack Skellington appearsto be casually walking away from the scene, suggesting that he did something to poor Mirabel. Clearly, this is not the case, however, as Mirabel is instead the most recent casualty of a hiccup in the game’s programming.
Mirabel Fell Victim To An All-Too-Common Glitch In This Player’s Valley
In the comments on the post, many people shared stories of similar things happening with their characters, including a picture fromgandalfthebrunetteof Kristoff in the pose while her character was talking to him. Others leaned into the humor of the situation, such asAkuraPiety, who referenced the iconic “don’t talk about Bruno”. The placement of Jack Skellington in the picture ledmany others to joke about what he could have said or done to cause that reaction.
Thankfully, these glitches don’t last long. The original poster mentions in the comments that Mirabel righted herself after a second conversation with Jack Skellington was over, signaling that the game must have some internal measures for taking care of these types of situations.

Our Take: Glitches Are Never Good, But Can Definitely Be Funny
The glitches seen inDisney Dreamlight Valleyare very rarely things that will break the game, often being something that is more funny than anything, andgenerally are fixed by simply restarting. Whether it is a player beingterrorized by a random bale of hayor characters floating in the sky, these minor inconveniences make for great stories. I have not personally had a glitch like this happen in my game, but I almost wish I would simply because of how silly they can be.
Squids In Disney Dreamlight Valley Are Creating Issues For Players, But Luckily, There May Be An Easy Fix
Some Disney Dreamlight Valley players have a squid problem, but luckily the developers are aware as players scramble to find a fix in the meantime.
A video game having glitches and issues is never thought of as a good thing, but when they come across in these types of ways, they can at least make for some funny comments when shared online. Thankfully, all’s well that ends well, and Mirabel is happily exploring the valley in the postersDisney Dreamlight Valleyworld again.
