Even with titles likeSonic Lost WorldandFootball Manager 2014,only 6.3 million units of product were sold at retail worldwide for the Japanese developer. Europe was responsible for roughly half of all units, at 3 million, while North American contributed 2.2 million and Japan 900,000.

As a result of this, Sega has seen an increase in net sales of 19.7% and an operating income increase of 436.7%, over the previous year.
