Now FuturLab is back to announce a sequel with a trailer that promises even more satisfying content coming inPowerWash Simulator 2. The followup title to the hit zen cleaning title will have a new campaign to play through, complete with new locations to clean, tools to play with, and a home base to decorate.

And, for the first time, players will be able to share the experience with a friend through online orlocal split-screen co-op.PowerWash Simulator 2will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in late 2025, with more information to be revealed in April.

I’m excited to sink even more hours into the therapeutic practice of digital power washing, but I also have to mention the elephant — or rather, the gnome — in the room.The trailer stars some garden gnomesthat many fans will recognize from the first game. These little red-hat-wearing statuettes were hidden around the first game’s various locations, having no function except to be silly Easter eggs that you could blast with your power washer.

The gnomes' strong presence in the trailersuggests that FuturLab is embracing the absurd even more with the upcoming game. As players wash away caked-on grime, they may just uncover some hidden lore and resolve more of the mysteries of the game’s fictional town of Muckingham.
