How To Unlock New Max Moves In Pokémon GO
Three Moves To Learn For Each Dynamax Pokémon
Each Dynamax Pokémon can have three moves when they are in their Dynamax form.In each Max Battle, you will start using your Pokémon’s standard moves, but once you have filled the Max Meter, these new options will become available. Upon first catching them, you will only have access to a Max Attack, which allows you to deal damage to the opposing Pokémon. However, thereare also two further moves that can be unlockedfor all Pokémon: Max Guard and Max Spirit.
Max Guard reduces the damage taken by attacks from the Max Battle Boss Pokémon, while Max Spirit heals your Pokémon along with allies in the battle.
To unlock the new moves, you will need Max Particles and Candy for the specific Pokémon you want to teach them to. The new moves can be unlocked by scrolling down to the Max Moves section on that Pokémon’s profile. At first, the Max Guard and Max Spirit will show as locked. Simply click on the one you want to add and it will display the requirements to unlock it.

Two new Collection Challenges have arrived in Pokémon GO to celebrate the Galarian Expedition event, so here’s how to complete them both.
To unlock each of the new moves, you will need400 Max Particles along with 50 of the relevant Pokémon’s Candy. Max Particles can be earned by visiting the new Power Spots, but they are easy to come by. Candy can be earned for each Pokemon in a number of ways, including catching more of them or transferring duplicates you don’t need anymore. Once you have enough Max Particles and Candy, you can click train and your Dynamax Pokémon will learn the new Max Move.

Upgrading Your Moves To The Max
In addition to learning each of the three Max Moves, all of them can be further upgraded. All three of them have three separate levels.Level 1, level 2, and Max!As opposed to learning the moves, which have the same requirements for each Pokémon, the amount of resources needed to upgrade each move changes depending on the strength of it.
If you click on the Max Move, you want to upgrade on the Pokémon’s profile, it will give you the option to do so. However, the minimum for any Pokémon to upgrade any of the moves to level 2 is600 Max Particles and 100 Candy. With the amount to upgrade to the Max at least1,400 Particles, 100 Candy, and 40 XL Candy.
Unlocking and upgrading Max Moves inPokémon GOwill be vital for some of the harder Max Battles to come, but it’s going to be an expensive journey if you want to get them all to their fully upgraded level.
