How To Get The Point Hope Hidden ID Card & Badge

Complete the Puzzle to Unlock a New Style

To solve the Point Hope Lighthouse puzzle inPhasmophobiaand unlock the Ferryman of the Drowned ID Card and Badge, players will need to begin an investigation on the Point Hope map. Because identifying the ghost and completing the investigation is unnecessary, it may be a good idea tocreate a custom difficultyin which the ghost never hunts,s and the breaker begins turning on so there is enough light to see around the map. However, for more experienced ghost hunters, the puzzle can be completed during an active ghost investigation on any of the existing difficulty settings.

Phasmophobia: 6 Important Things You Probably Didn’t Know

Phasmophobia has garnered a large following lately, but even the best and most seasoned players still may not know all the game’s secrets.

Nearly everything required to complete thePhasmophobiaPoint Hope puzzle can be found within the lighthouse itself. However, players will want to have a UV lamp in their loadout, as it is required equipment for completing the puzzle. Tier level does not matter, as all three UV Lamps offered in the in-game shop will work. Players will also need at least one empty inventory slot.

Step 1: Play a Game of Pool

Once at Point Hope, equipped with a UV lamp, navigate to the fourth floor of the lighthouse. This is a game room, and players can find a billiards table on the far side of the stairs. On the wall by the stairs, make note of the three paintings of seashells that seem somewhat out of place from the rest of the decor. From left to right, the shells are green, blue, and orange. This is the first clue, and it corresponds to which colored pool balls players will need to sink into the pool table’s holes and in which order.

It is not necessary to use a cue, though there are a few in the room. Instead, using their empty inventory slot, players can pick up each pool ball in color order (DefaultEon PC) and toss it into any of the holes (DefaultGon PC). For best results, try to throw the ball into a hole across the table, and aim slightly high to ensure it catches enough air.

The seashell pictures at Point Hope in Phasmophobia correspond to the color and order needed to throw the pool balls.

The colors of the paintings correspond to the billiards balls, and the order they must be thrown, does not change between games ofPhasmophobia.

If this step of the puzzle is completed correctly, players will hear a clinking sound and will find theLantern Cabinet Keyin the ball box of the billiards table. They will need to take the key for the next step. Similar to thecar keys onPhasmophobia’ssmall House maps, the Lantern Cabinet Key will appear in the player’s Journal next to the building key.

Step 2: Repair the Lantern Cabinet Gears

Next, climb to the eighth floor of Point Hope, which looks like a workshop. Players can find a gear leaning on a cabinet near the workbench with all the paintbrushes and behind the spilled can of red paint on the floor. They will need to take the gear and climb one more set of stairs to the ninth floor. Around the staircase, creating a dead end, is a locked wooden cabinet with rusty gear on top.

Open the cabinet with the key obtained in the first step of the puzzle and insert the gear in the empty socket. The two gears should begin to turn and make three cracking sounds.

Step 3: Ring the Bell

Then, head back downstairs to the first floor and leave the building. On the way inside, there is a large bell in front of Point Hope. Players will need to ring this bell three times individually. To ring the bell, approach and press thePrimary Usebutton (Defaultleft-clickon PC). A hissing sound will indicate this step has been performed correctly.

Step 4: Light the Lamp

Finally, climb back up to the top of Point Hope, the tenth floor, and exit onto the balcony. From this vantage point in the distance, past the truck, players should see the source of the hissing from the previous step: a fire near some rocks illuminating the letters “UV” written in the sand.

Back inside the lighthouse building, shine the UV Lamp on the giant lantern in the center of the room until it lights up purple and stays glowing. Then, head outside to see UV-lit bodies floating up from the water, illuminated in the lantern’s light. This effect will remain until players leave the game.

The locked Lantern Cabinet is on the ninth floor of Point Hope in Phasmophobia blocking off a path around the stairs.

Upon returning to the lobby, a notification will pop up with the message,Level Up! Unlocks: Ferryman of the Drowned. ChooseAcceptto close the pop-up and return to the game.

How To Change ID Card and Badge Motifs
