Created by George Lucas and voiced by Jim Cummings, Hondo Ohnaka is easily one ofStar Wars' most recognizable pirates and smugglers. He made his debut inStar Wars: The Clone Wars, and returned inStar Wars Rebelsas something of a familiar face. A Jedi sympathizer who doesn’t mind betraying even for his friends for a quick credit, Hondo is a major character at the Galaxy’s Edge theme park. It’s easy to see why a figure like Hondo would factor into a pirate-centric story set at the height of his career.

Hondo would most definitely be interested in the mysterious treasure the kids have apparently stumbled on, meaning he’d be a formidable antagonist.
