The newest card in thePokémon Trading Card Gamethat was just revealed features the fan-favorite icon of the franchise, Pikachu, but eagle-eyed fans will notice a few other Pokémon making cameos behind the sparking Pikachu in the front. The card will be released later this month exclusively in China as part of a promotional box.

The special Pikachu promo card, shared on Instagram bypokemontcgsaver, is a full-card illustration that shows a dynamic sparking Pikachu at the center. The card won’t be sought after for its power, as it only has 70 HP and an attack that only does 10 points of damage to a random opposing Pokémon card. However, the stunning, exclusive art makes it a must-have for many collectors.

The card is part of a special promotion celebrating the fifth year that thePokémon Trading Card Gamehas been printed in Traditional Chinese. A special"5th Anniversary" stampmarks this Pikachu as being a part of this joyous occasion.

Pikachu isn’t the only Pokémon being celebrated in theTraditional Chinese 5th Anniversary Commemorative box, as according toPokeGuardian, italso includes cards from Sun & Moon, Sword & Shield, and Scarlet & Violet. These cards specifically are all gens that have traditional Chinese printings. The box also contains a booster box of Super Electric Breaker as well as a deck box, sleeve, storage box, and a keychain.

One of the Pokémon Trading Card Game’s most notorious “missing” cards has been spotted in the wild so collectors may want to pick one up quickly.

The Pokémon will even make an appearance as a cosmic holographic card in theTrick or Trade collection this year, which features mostly spooky ghost- and dark-type Pokémon. Unfortunately, it’sunlikely that this particular promo card will ever be translatedor released in the West, since it’s a China-specific promotion. I’m holding out hope that the awesome art will at least make it to Western decks, in some form or other.
