The last day to watchLongmireon Netflix will be June 18, 2025.Longmireran from 2012 to 2017. Its first three seasons aired on A&E, then its final three seasons premiered directly on Netflix. The series is based on theWalt Longmire Mysteriesnovel series by Craig Johnson andfollows Sheriff Walt Longmire, who solves crimes in a small town in Wyoming. Longmirehas been regarded as one of thebest Western shows of all time, so while it is a shame that it is leaving Netflix, it is relieving that it has found a new home on Paramount+. WhileLongmireis a popular series, it was slightly ahead of its time, sinceYellowstonebegan and made the Western genre much more popular on TV just one year afterLongmireended. Hopefully, more people can discoverLongmirein 2025 and beyond.
