Cosplay Designs and Photo Edit by @wens.1998

A cosplay collage that pays homage to 2012’sThe Amazing Spider-Man #700cover, originally composited by Pascal Garcin, this image, much like @wens.1998’s own take on the piece, features art plucked from across Spider-Man’s decades-long fight against evil, withthe cumulative design collated together to form a close-up of one of Spidey’s white spider eyes. Using Spider-Man images for the red part of his mask, Venom ones for the black, and a variety of characters from Spidey’s past for the white, @wens.1998 takes the challenge of recreating this cover head-on, resulting in something truly spectacular.

Mimicking Pascal Garcin’s cover nearly perfectly, @wens.1998 similarly layers the red sections of his piece with images of him in full Spider-Man garb, with the black areas populated byblack suit Spider-Manand Venom, and the white parts more so using pictures of Peter Parker as well as other Spider-Man-related characters. Giving fans multiple close-up views of his highly-detailed poster to swipe through,it’s clear that this piece is the pinnacle achievement of @wens.1998’s prolific cosplay career, with more great projects and creative collaborations promised in the months and years to come.

Spider-Man

Spider-Man is the name given to several individuals who have employed a spider-moniker throughout Marvel Comics. Typically gaining their powers through a bite from a radioactive spider, the different Spider-Man heroes employ super-strength, agility, and intellect while utilizing webbing to swing and tangle up their foes. The most notable of these Spider-Men is Peter Parker, who remains one of the most popular superheroes throughout the world.
