While NetEase initially stated thatMarvel Rivalswould not be coming to the Nintendo Switch, they have now mentioned that they are open to a Nintendo Switch 2 launch of the popular hero shooter.Marvel Rivalslaunched on multiple platforms, minus the Nintendo Switch, which left those players either having to swap platforms or being hopeful that someday the title would come to their preferred one. It seems that this could actually happen, as NetEase states that so long as they can provide the same type of experience as the Console and PC version of the title, they are open to a Switch port.
In a recent interview withIGN,Marvel Rivalsproducer Weicong Wu stated,“We’re already in contact with Nintendo and working on some development kits. And whenever we find that we could provide great performance for our game on Switch 2, we’re open to that.“While this is not a concrete, 100% confirmation that the title is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, it does give hope to those who use the platform and is a real possibility.
