Like Thor and many other deity characters within the Marvel Universe, Hercules has the power of Allspeak and it’s revealed Hercules’Allspeak abilities allow him to read body language making him akin to a human lie detector. InAvengers Assemble#2,Allspeak has been heightened to include the ability to communicate with animals, and possibly the undead,meaning Hercules will have other assets to aid the Avengers aside from his, albeit impressive, physical abilities. While these powers are only recently revealed, they’re a logical next step when looking at his character and the world he comes from.

Another incredible power Hercules revealed to his teammate during their ghost mission was the hidden powers his mace holds. When discovering the apes are spirits stuck on earth due to their radiation, Hercules notes the adamantine in his mace was forged by the gods and has the ability to absorb and disperse energy. With his mace, Hercules is able to purify spirits and lay their souls to rest. His newly revealed powers of Allspeak and his mace give Hercules a distinctive upgrade, setting his character apart from his counterparts and building up anticipation for his return to the MCU.
