TheMasters of the Universemovie has gathered four new villains. The multimedia franchise, which is set in a sci-fi fantasy universe and generally follows the longstanding battle between He-Man and the wicked Skeletor on the planet Eternia, kicked off as a toy line in 1982, which was followed by a 1983 animated series. TheupcomingMasters of the Universemovieis the latest live-action project in the franchise, starring Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, and Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms.
Amazon MGM StudiosandMattel, Inc.have now announced that more villains will be joining the cast alongside the already announced Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn.Jared Leto has boarded the project as Skeletor, the sorcerer who has a skull for a face and seeks to take over Eternia and eventually the universe. Also joining the cast are Sam C. Wilson as the cyborg Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as the horned strongman Goat Man, and Kojo Attah as the triangular-eyed bounty hunter Tri-Klops.

For instance,Jared Leto recently played the title character in the Marvel antihero movieMorbius, but he has also portrayed key antagonists including Niander Wallace inBlade Runner 2049and the iconic Batman villain Joker inSuicide Squadand Zack Snyder’sJustice League.
