The Protagonist Is A Complicated Detective
According to the description provided in the report,Joe Ledgerfollows the titular character. Ledger is described as a Baltimore detective who is psychologically fractured. The task force, which is called the Department of Military Sciences, squares off against enemies by using state-of-the-art weapons. Ledger has a combat dog, named Ghost, a team of first-class special operators, and the resources of a mysterious figure known as Mr. Church.
The first three books in the series were picked up for a potential TV show adaptation on ABC, to be written byLOSTandCharmedwriter Javier Grillo-Marxuach, but the project never moved forward.
