WithAgatha All Alongonly being a week away from its release, theMarvel Cinematic Universeshow has accidentally spoiled Joe Locke’s new character. Agatha Harkness is making her return tothe MCU timelineas Kathryn Hahn will be headlining her own spinoff series,Agatha All Along. However, one of the biggest mysteries that the MCU fandom has been trying to crack down for the longest time is Locke’s new player in the series.
As internationalAgatha All Alongtrailers are still being shown across different Disney+ and Marvel platforms, some MCU fans detected a few of the promos revealing who Locke is actually playing in theupcoming MCU release. Check out several examples below:
Thanks to @PaniniTheQueen7, they discovered that a number of internationalAgatha All Alongspots had Locke’s character referred to as “Billy.” They also provided more screenshots showing that it was in multiple languages.
To this point, Marvel Studios and Disney+ have strictly been referring to Locke as simply “Teen.” At the time of this story’s publication,Disney+ and Marvel Studios have yet to comment on the international subtitles revelation forAgatha All Along.
Agatha All Along’s “Billy” Reveal Seemingly Confirms A Major Show Theory
Ever since Locke was tapped as part oftheAgatha All Alongcast, the MCU fans have heavily speculated that theHeartstopperstar is actually playing Billy, a.k.a. Wiccan, who was first introduced inWandaVisionas one of Scarlet Witch and Vision’s kids. Despite being a young kid inWandaVision, with the multiverse and time travel at their disposal, there are natural ways for Locke to play a grown-up version of Billy. It’s unlikely this is going to be the exact same Billy that fans meet in the Phase 4 series, but it stands to reason this version could potentially be a variant with perhaps some similar history.
Whether or not Locke is playing Billy Maximoff or Billy Kaplan remains to be seen, although it wouldn’t be shocking if it is the latter. This also sets up a fascinating story to be explored further down the line to have one of Scarlet Witch’s children be this connected to Agatha, someone who was an enemy to Wanda. With only a week to go beforeAgatha All Along’spremiere on Disney+, the MCU will soon shed light on the specifics regarding the character, and convey which of these theories had some truth to them.
With a grown-up Billy seemingly confirmed forAgatha All Along, this now begs the question of when the MCU will introduce his brother Tommy and who will play his older incarnation. At this point,Agatha All Alongcould very well tease that the other twin will show up in the thirdWandaVisionseries,Vision, which is currently in development for 2026. But for now, the world will first have to catchAgatha All Alongon September 18 to find out what the MCU has in store for Billy.
