Mr. Freeze’s entire motivation is to save his wife Nora, but in this universe, she’s killed by Deathstroke, which is what sparks Mr. Freeze’s rage. Without his wife, Mr. Freeze has no care for the world or anyone in it. Freeze’s standard emotional status quo could bewhat’s always held Victor’s true power back. With Nora dead, Mr. Freeze immediately plunges the surrounding kingdom into a frozen wasteland with nothing but roaming undead. The spell is so powerful that even a Batman with Kryptonian powers had no choice but to retreat after trying to make his way to Victor.
