What Invincible Season 3’s New Clip Means For The Finale

The Battle With Conquest Will Have Major Repercussions

Conquest’s arrival was promised during season 2, when Anissa warned Mark the Viltrum Empire would be sending someone less forgiving than her next time to check on his progress. He was previously tasked by General Kregg (Clancy Brown) to assimilate Earth into the empire, something he hasn’t done. Based on the newInvincibleseason 3clip, the newcomer appears delighted that he hasn’t done anything to progress what was asked of him, wanting to fight the main character for the sheer joy of doing so.

Invincible Season 3’s New Viltrumite Villain, Conquest, Explained

Conquest has finally been introduced in Invincible season 3, and here’s who the Viltrumite villain is and what his role in the show will be.

Based on the crater in the ground,it seems like Conquest might be Mark’s toughest opponent yet, with no one measuring up since he fought his dad, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), in the season 1 finale. Given the destruction Earth’s already faced thanks to Angstrom and his Invincible army, the Viltrumite warrior is a harsh reminder of the off-world threats still looming on the horizon. It’s also possible setup forInvincibleseason 4, as the consequences of this fight are bound to signal where the story goes from here.

Can Mark Face Conquest On His Own?

Given how strong and imposing Conquest already appears to be, he seems like the kind of threat Mark isn’t going to be able to take out on his own. However, withthe Guardians of the Globe and Eve (Gillian Jacobs) still recoveringand trying to help other people, he might need to face the new Viltrumite on his own. Depending on how the battle unfolds,Invincibleseason 3 might see the main character in his most dangerous situation ever, especially if he’s all alone.
