Invincibleseason 3, episode 6finally introduced Powerplex to the Amazon Prime Video show, and while he already got a lot of focus, the Invincible War will make him a much bigger deal. Powerplex may be in a GDA prison at the end of episode 6, but he won’t stay that way forever. Powerplex still has a lot of story from theInvinciblecomics that the show hasn’t covered, meaning that he will make his grand return sometime after the Invincible War storyline.
Invincibleseason 3 has tackled a lot of seemingly unrelated storylines, with Mark having to deal with Cecil Stedman, future timelines, and the creation of Powerplex. The post-credits scene ofInvincibleseason 3, episode 6also reveals thatMark will have to face off against Angstrom Levy, along with his army of evil Mark Graysons. Mark has a lot on his plate, and this Angstrom Levy storyline is set to make his Powerplex problem even worse.

Powerplex holds a massive grudge against Invincible, with him wanting to kill Mark Grayson thanks to his fight with his father from season 1. Before he was a supervillain,Powerplex was in Chicago during Invincible and Omni-Man’s battle, with his sister and her child dying. Despite Mark being a hero, Powerplex believes that Invincible must die due to the destruction he caused, believing that his power gives him too much potential.

Inthe Invincible War storyline, Angstrom Levy releases an army of Mark Graysons from alternate dimensions, with them causing destruction all over Mark’s Earth. All of these Invincible duplicates look just like the main Invincible, causing mass confusion when the attack first starts. Powerplex witnessing the Invincible War will most likely only make him hate Invincible more, with it proving him right about Invincible’s potential danger.

He Will Continue His Battles With Invincible
Powerplex was last seen being arrested by the GDA, with his time in the GDA’s prison changing him forever. In an attempt to rehabilitate him, Cecil puts Powerplex on a GDA-sanctioned superhero team known as The Actioneers. While on the team, Powerplex becomes an actual hero, using his powers for good.
Invincible’s Title Card Gag Has Been Running Since The Start, But Season 3 Just Had The Best One Yet
Invincible’s title card gag has become one of the show’s most iconic traditions, and season 3 just implemented it perfectly into the story.
However, Powerplex can’t help but become enraged whenever he sees Invincible, returning back to his villainous ways whenever Mark Grayson is around. Mark and Powerplex have several encounters in theInvinciblecomics, with this storyline most likely being continued in the show as well. So, while Powerplex probably won’t be seen again until after the Invincible War, his story could be seen again inInvincibleseason 4.
