One of the important questlines inWorld of Warcraft: The War Withinis Chapter 5 of the main campaign questline for expansion. How to start A Light in the Dark quest
In order to start the quest A Light in the Dark you must head to Dornogal. You must have also already completed the previous four chapter quests in the endgame main campaign storyline forThe War Within. Here are the four chapter quests you must complete prior to starting the A Light in the Dark quest:
Upon completing the Machines March to War, you will be able to start the fifth and final chapter which is A Light in the Dark. Head to Dornogal and speak with Allerica, who then sends you to the Aegis Wall in Hallowfall to speak with General Steelstrike. If you were unable to get that quest before today, don’t worry; it was time-gated and just unlocked on September 3 during the weekly reset.
How to complete the A Light in the Dark quest
I’ll avoid spoilers, but once you speak to General Steelstrike you’ll complete a couple of quests before receiving the actual quest you are looking for, A Light in the Dark, from Anduin Wrynn. He will task you with chasing down the villain of the expansion and defeating her. Once you complete this quest, you will have to return back to Alleria Windrunner.
Upon doing so you will complete the A Light in the Dark quest and also conclude the endgame campaign questline forThe War Within. Finally, if you’ve done all the other requirements to unlock The Earthen, which were possible before now, you will officially unlock the Allied Race.
