Disney continues its string of reboots/revivals withWizards Beyond Waverly Place, which features the returns of David Henrie and Selena Gomez asJustin and Alex Russo from Disney Channel’sWizards of Waverly Place. The 2024 Disney+ comedy series, created by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas,serves as a spinoff and sequel to the original TV show.Wizards of Waverly Placerevolved around the Russo family, including Justin and Alex, the eldest and middle children, respectively. As its title suggests, Justin and Alex (along with their younger brother, Max) were wizards in the Disney Channel fantasy teen sitcom.
