New leaks about the Amphoreus treasure chests inHonkai: Star Rail3.0 have emerged, highlighting the possible size of the turn-based RPG’s fifth major destination. HoYoverse has already confirmed thatVersion 3.0 will initiate the game’s third year of content and take players to the mysterious planet of Amphoreus, which seems heavily inspired by Roman and Greek mythologies. The developer has already teased the roster of Amphoreus characters, though Version 3.0 should only present Aglaea as a playable unit since the patch should addThe Herta and the Remembrance Trailblazeras the other new playable characters inHonkai: Star Rail.
Even so,players will be able to visit Amphoreus for the first time in Version 3.0 and meet several of the key characters in the destination, possibly even preparing themselves for an upcoming release in future patches. Aside from what it seems inspired by, little is known about this new location. However, leaks have started to be shared as a result of the start of the beta tests for Version 3.0. These leaks have highlighted several upcoming pieces of content, such as thegreat gift inHonkai: Star Rail3.0. Now, they show how many treasure chests Amphoreus will have.

Amphoreus Leaks Show Several Treasure Chests In Honkai: Star Rail 3.0
One Of The Regions Is Rumored To Have 50 Chests
The total amount of treasure chests in Amphoreus’ different map regions has allegedly been leaked ahead of Version 3.0’s release. According to information provided by the leaker known as Kazusa,Amphoreus should have a total of 167 treasure chests at launch, spread across the five different regions that have been listed. The leak was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” onReddit. The leak says that the region called Eternal Holy City Okhema will have the most treasure chests in Amphoreus, with a count of 50 chests to find inHonkai: Star Rail.
Honkai Star Rail 3.0 Leaks: How Current Support Characters' Action Advances Affect Memosprites
The Action Advance mechanic is an important one, and leaks for Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 have detailed how it will affect the upcoming memosprites.
After that, the leaked region called Bloodbathed Battlefront in Castrum Kremnos should hold 41 treasure chests in Amphoreus, while the Strife Ruins in Castrum Kremnos will allegedly have 40. The leak also says that the Abyss of Fate Janusopolis region will have 34 treasure chests to uncover. The last leaked region, called Vortex of Genesis, is rumored to only have two treasure chests out of the 167 chests rumored for all of Amphoreus’ first maps. As more patches are added, more regions in Amphoreus should also be introduced, bringing forth moretreasure chests inHonkai: Star Rail.

It is uncertain how many of these chests per region are locked behind puzzles and quests.
Leaked Amphoreus Treasure Chests In Honkai: Star Rail May Hint At Amphoreus’ Massive Scale
Penacony’s Largest Zone Has 32 Chests
With the exception of the Vortex of Genesis region, which only has two leaked treasure chests and is likely a very special area in terms of lore, the rest of the zones and their list of leaked chests may be indicative of just how large Amphoreus may be.A single area inHonkai: Star Railhaving 50 treasure chests seems like an absurdly high number for the game’s current map design standard. Even the zones rumored to have around 40 chests feel like they are larger than what players have been accustomed to in previous maps.
For reference, one of the game’s largest map areas, Penacony’s Golden Hour, has 32 treasure chests.

The sheer number of leaked chests per region in Amphoreus stacks with other evidence that the new destination will be massive. There’s been a leak saying that players will be able to usedinosaur mounts inHonkai: Star Rail, though perhaps it may be limited to a specific region in Amphoreus rather than all of the zones. Nevertheless, the prospect of having a mount, even if they are set on a pre-established route rather than fully controllable, may show that at least one of the Amphoreus maps is large enough to require an additional means of transportation.
Honkai Star Rail 3.0 Leaks: The Herta Materials Can Already Be Pre-Farmed
The materials used by The Herta in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 have leaked and, with all of them available in the game, players can pre-farm them.
Coincidentally or not,Version 3.0 is rumored to have a special tool that could help players find some of these treasure chests in Amphoreus more easily: The Herta. The rumors about the 5-star character indicate thatThe Herta’s treasure-finding skill inHonkai: Star Railwill pinpoint the location of basic treasures on both the map and mini-map. If this is true, then finding the leaked treasure chests in the next destination could be facilitated with the playable character. Those without The Herta may struggle a bit more, though there are rumors of an upcoming treasure compass item in Version 3.0.

While there is a chance that HoYoverse is designing Amphoreus maps to have a larger concentration of treasure chests within the same type of area design, the general feeling among the community (as represented by the comments on the Reddit post, for example) is thatAmphoreus will be much larger than all previous regions. The developer has been increasing the size of its maps, mainly with Penacony – in comparison to Herta Space Station, Jarilo-VI, and the Xianzhou Luofu, the Planet of Festivities has a lot more to offer in terms of exploration andrewards inHonkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 Leaks Point Toward An Improvement In Daily Farming
In addition to new content, Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 should also see system optimizations, one of which was leaked and promises improvements to farming.
The Xianzhou Luofu and Penacony were the two destinations to most grow with patches over the past two years and, even if the new areas added weren’t necessarily massive individually, they did make the entire destination much larger. If HoYoverse plans on keeping up with this pattern,Amphoreus should be the largest region in the turn-based RPG so far. The Amphoreus regions added with future patches could be much smaller in size and offer fewer treasure chests than the initial ones, but if they aren’t smaller than the expansions to the Luofu and Penacony, players could be looking at a huge destination inHonkai: Star Rail.

As promising and reliable as the leaked number of treasure chests in Amphoreus may seem, players should still consider the information with some caution. The details about each map may be wrong or incomplete. Furthermore, they may even be subject to alterations leading up to Version 3.0. Even with the scarcity of information surrounding Amphoreus for now, the few leaks about the next major destination are extremely exciting, and The Eternal Land inHonkai: Star Railmay offer players a load of new content to play through that may have them busy for months on end.
