The Bottle Tree’s Numbers Are Music Notes To A Lullaby

Jim suggests that the twelve numbers inside the bottles are the twelve notes on a musical scale. This explains why there are 10 digits plus two numbers that are backwards. As Jade tries to figure out the melody based on the number sequences, he realizes that he already knows the whole song, and that it is a lullaby. Jim is concerned about Jade conveniently remembering the song and believes this may be the Town manipulating Jade, especially since music has proven to be dangerous in the past with the Music Box Monster.

From season 3 delivers a game-changing finale that answers many of the series' burning questions while creating new mysteries as well.

How The Lullaby Connects To The Children’s Tragic Backstories In From
Tabitha And Jade Used To Sing The Lullaby To The Children
The lullaby not only helps Tabitha and Jade remember who they are, but also reminds them that their past selves used to sing this same lullaby to the children, one of whom was their own daughter. Tabitha and Jade’s daughter and the rest of the children were sacrificed by the other adults in the Town in exchange for immortality, which is howFrom’s monsterswere created. Tabitha, Jade, and all the iterations of their past selves, including Miranda (Sarah Booth) and Christopher (Thom Payne), have repeatedly tried and failed to save the children.
Since Miranda was a past version of Tabitha, this makes Tabitha the mother of Victor Kavanaugh (Scott McCord).

By playing the lullaby, Tabitha and Jade finally understand the children’s tragic pastsand the role they played in it. For now, they are left reeling with the shock and devastation of these discoveries, including that they had a daughter they failed to save. Once the shock wears off inFromseason 4, and now Tabitha and Jade remember and know the truth thanks to the lullaby, they can hopefully find a way to finally fulfill their mission and save the children.
