Summary

Kelsey Grammer reveals that the Seattle episode inFrasierseason 2 will resurrect the best thing about the original series. After spending thefirst ten episodes of theFrasierrebootsettling in Boston, the upcoming run of the Paramount+ show will see the radiotherapist-turned-Harvard educator return to the Pacific Northwest. As previously reported, an episode ofFrasierseason 2 will be in Seattle, whereFrasier will reunite with his former KACL co-workers. That’s not all, however. The show will also dial up the nostalgia as the special outing also revives one of the most iconic parts of the flagship project.

In an interview withUSA Today, Grammer revealed thatFrasier will return to his old KACL booth and sit in his radiotherapist chair inFrasierseason 2’s Seattle episode. “At first I was like, ‘this is just a set, nothing was really happening to me’ But that was before I sat down in that chair.”

Why Frasier’s KACL Radiotherapist Job In Seattle Was So Special

“I’m Listening”

All of Frasier’s callers were voiced by various celebrities, such as Rosemary Clooney and Kieran Culkin.

Some pertinent information aboutFrasierseason 2’s Seattle episode was revealed before the special outing. Dan Butler’s Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe, Edward Hibbert’s Gil Chesterton, and Harriet Sansom Harris' eccentric agent Bebe Glazer are all confirmed to appear. Meanwhile,Peri Gilpin’s Roz Doyle will also be presentin the much-anticipated offering after her initial return in theFrasierseason 1 finale. It’s still unclear, however, why Frasier will be flying back to Seattle for this reunion, considering how popular and successful he became in Chicago. That’s unless something big happens like KACL closing down.

Frasier (2023)

If this is the case, seeing Frasier take calls for the last time will be very special for those who followed his story in Seattle. Much has been said about why the original series was so popular. The cast’s performance was phenomenal, and the writing was outstanding. However, there wassomething so genius about Frasier’s KACL radiotherapist segment. For starters, it highlighted his best asset, which was his drive to help people. Secondly, it also set the stage for countless guest stars in the show. All of Frasier’s callers were voiced by various celebrities, such as Rosemary Clooney and Kieran Culkin.

The Frasier Reboot Season 2 Will Further Ruin Niles But I’m Afraid It’s For The Better

New details about the Frasier reboot season 2 hint that the revival will destroy Niles' character, but it may be necessary for the show to continue.

Hopefully, the Seattle episode can inspire the people behind the revival for a new career path for Frasier. Unfortunately, his stint atHarvard as a guest lecturer isn’t workingsimply because it doesn’t allow him to actively help other people the way he did when he was still with KACL. Perhaps revisiting his old job in the PNW can convince him to change paths in theFrasierreboot season 2.
