It is almost the end ofFortniteChapter 5 Season 4, but there’s still plenty for players to do before downtime begins. Epic Games has revealed that next season, Chapter 2 Remix, will be something of a throwback to one of the most well-loved periods inFortnite’shistory. This seems similar toFortniteChapter 4, Season OG, which officially ended Chapter 4 almost a year ago.
While there’s always a lot to do before the start of a newFortniteseason, this becomes especially true when Epic Games brings features back from previous seasons, all but ensuring almost everything will be different once downtime begins. There are a few key thingsFortniteplayers may want to do tocap off the Marvel-themed Chapter 5 Season 4 and Fortnitemares eventand prepare themselves for all the changes coming in Chapter 2 Remix.

When Fortnite’s End Of Chapter 5 Season 4 Begins
Deadline Date & Time
Downtime for theend ofFortniteChapter 5 Season 4is scheduled for 2 a.m. ET on November 2. Matchmaking is usually disabled 30 minutes before servers shut down, soplayers have until 1:30 a.m. on November 2 to complete everything in Chapter 5, Season 4. With Doctor Doom gone as of the mid-season live event, it is unclear who or what will cause the shift from Chapter 5 Season 4 to the new Chapter 2 Remix.
The Next Chapter In Fortnite Has Leaked, Revealing “Meowdas” And A Feature OG Fans Did Not Miss
Fortnite has dropped hints to its next Remix chapter, revealing the return of old items and skins including one the community has dubbed “Meowdas.”
It is also unknown whether there will be a live event to conclude Chapter 5, Season 4, or when such an event might occur. There has not been any official word from Epic Games about the conclusion of Chapter 5 Season 4, though some leaks fromShiinaon X suggest itmay take place on November 1 at Restored Reels in a unique event playlistthat includes respawns, like Team Rumble.

Finish The Battle Pass
Everything You Should Complete
Finishing the Battle Pass is the most important thing forFortniteplayers to do ahead of the conclusion of Chapter 5, Season 4. Epic Games announced earlier this year that someBattle Pass cosmetics may return to the gamevia the Item Shop about 18 months following that pass expiring; it is not yet clear how that will work and for which cosmetics. To be sure and get everything the Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass offers, players should try to reach level 200 before downtime begins on November 2.
In addition to the standard Battle Pass with its bonus rewards, players should do what they can tocomplete the Dr. Doom mini Battle Pass andunlock all Doom-themed cosmetics. They may also want to earn the Battle Pass Quest Rewards, which are tied to completing two, four, and six Weekly Quests at a time from pairs of weeks starting in Week 5. The last Quest Reward, Captain Jones (Pen & Ink), only became available with the release of Week 10’s Weekly Quests, so players have a very limited time to unlock that outfit style before Chapter 5 Season 4 ends.

To complete theChapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass, players will need to earn XP, which will allow them to level up and collect Battle Stars. Battle Stars can be traded in for Battle Pass cosmetics through Level 100 and the Battle Pass Bonus Rewards through Level 200. T
o level up fast, players can complete any remaining Quests, which award large amounts of XP at once, or play some ofFortnite’sother modes, including Creator Made Islands,LEGO Fortnite, andFortnite Festival. All XP earned in these modes counts toward the Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Passand the separateLEGOandFestivalpasses.

Don’t Leave Quests Unfinished
Fortnite’sQuests are the fastest and most efficient way to earn the XP needed to level up and unlock all Battle Pass cosmetic rewards. They are also the only way to earn some free cosmetic rewards, including the Doom mini-pass and Fortnitemares rewards.
Quests are accessible via the Quest tab in the Main Menu either in the lobby or while on the Island. There are several different varieties of Quest to choose from, and each type awards different amounts of XP. Quest types available in Chapter 5, Season 4, and their associated XP rewards appear in the table below.

XP
Daily Quests
1,000 to 5,000 XP each, plus 20,000 for the first three completed each day
Weekly Quests
20,000 XP each, plus 30,000 XP for completing four at a time (12 Stages)
20,000 XP each

15,000 XP per Stage per Milestone
Survivor Quests
15,000 XP each
If players are close to finishing the Battle Pass, they may want to prioritize quests that offer a lot of XP in a short time, like Daily Quests, Weekly Quests, and Story Quests. All players may also want to prioritize Fortnitemares and Horde Rush Quests, as these are fairly straightforward, will only be available until the season’s end, and offer many XP and exclusive, spooky-themed cosmetic rewards.

Everything Else
Apart from leveling up, completing the Battle Pass, and claiming all available cosmetic rewards, there are a few more things players may want to do beforeFortniteChapter 5 Season 4 ends. The end of a Battle Royale season also means the end of aFortnite Festival season, the end of aRankedseason, and likely changes to Reload and the overall Battle Royale and Reload maps.
Players should make a point of seeing and doing everything they want to before the end, as much is likely to change upon the release ofFortniteChapter 2 Remix.
Why
Find and Complete Stark Fanclub Quests
The Stark Fanclub Quests are hidden Story Quests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 that are easy to miss unless playersfind the secret Iron Man fan roomin the basement of one of the homes in north Doomstadt. Completing this series of fetch quests grants players an entire Level Up, so it may be worth seeking out if you haven’t already.
Try Different Weapons
Many favored weapons and powerful items will likely get vaulted when Chapter 5 Season 4 ends. Learning to play with weapons you’re less comfortable with may help when the loot pools change next season.
Spend All Bars
Gold Bars,Fortnite’sin-game currency, don’t carry over between seasons. Players have to “use it or lose it,” so now is the time to speak toFortnite’sChapter 5 Season 4 NPCsand purchase fun Legendary weapons or hire NPC allies to use all the Gold Bars you’ve earned throughout Chapter 5 Season 4.
Visit Favorite POIs
TheFortnitemap is likely to change once Chapter 5 Season 4 ends. Some POIs, like Grand Glacier, have been in the game since the beginning of the chapter. Make sure to land at your favorite locations a few more times before they’re gone for good.
Rank up inFortnite Ranked
Ranks will reset at the end ofFortniteChapter 5 Season 4, so grind a few more ranks if you can to finish strong.
PlayFortnite Reload
Especially if the season is getting stale, or if you haven’t played much Reload, consider trying this game mode to practice with a different loot pool and experience the Reload map at least a few times in case it changes when Chapter 5 ends.
Finish the Festival Pass
Fortnite Festival’sseason changes when the regular Battle Royale season does, meaning players only have a limited time to claim all the freeFortniteFestivalpass rewards and the premium Karol G rewards if they purchased the premium track. Additionally, song scores are reset at the end of the season, so players who want to achieve a high score should play a bit more at the festival before November 2.
Earn Remaining Survivor Medals
Survivor Medals also reset at the end of the season, so do your best to upgrade to Mythic 1 before Chapter 5 Season 4 ends.
Collect Boss Medallionsand Weapons
If you have not had a chance to play using one of the three Boss Medallions or Mythic weapons in Chapter 5, Season 4, now may be the time to fight one of the bosses and claim their special loot, as it is almost certain these specific items will be vaulted at the end of the season.
