Fire Emblemis my kind of game. It’s also the first game I ever wrote about on Destructoid. And if Nintendo keeps remaking them I’ll have constant reminders of my first day here from now on.
The new remake is calledFire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem – Hero of Light and Shadow, coming soon for the Nintendo DS in Japan. Siliconera says that this is a remake of the Japan-onlyFire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem. The teaser trailer on theNintendo official webpagewon’t do much for you (no gameplay imagery), but at least you can see some pretty story art.
Nintendo has a pretty decentback catalogofFire Emblemgames to draw upon for remakes. That’s fine with me. Keep ’em coming!
