Even though characters tend to return from the dead in the long-running franchise, one specific character cannot return inFast & Furious 11. After thecliffhanger ending ofFast X, anticipation is high for the final film in theFast & Furiousfranchise. At the end of the tenth entry, a plane carrying Roman, Tej, Han, and Ramsey is shot down by Dante. However, since their deaths are not explicitly shown, I would be shocked if these characters aren’t revealed to be alive in theupcomingFast & Furious 11.

However, there is one character who seemingly dies inFast Xthat should definitely remain dead. Through his actions inFast X, Dante proves that he is perhaps the bestvillain in theFast & Furiousfranchise. InFast & Furious 11, it will take Dom’s whole crew to take him down, with the help of Luke Hobbs and Gisele Yashar, who both surprisingly return at the end ofFast X. However, there is one character who will not be around to help inFast & Furious 11.

Fast & Furious 11 Cannot Possibly Bring Jakob Toretto Back After He Just Died

Jakob Sacrifices His Life In Fast X

Even though major characters like Letty, Han, and Gisele have all returned after seemingly dying, it should not be revealed that Jakob survived his crash inFast X. After initially being introduced as a villain inF9, Jakob, who is also Dom’s brother, finds redemption at the end of the film. Therefore,Jakob is an ally inFast Xand is assigned to help protect Brian, Dom’s son. Unfortunately, about halfway through the film, Brian is snatched by Dante, which leads to Jakob sacrificing his life to save him.

Is Jakob Toretto Really Dead? Fast X Makes His Fate Difficult To Believe

The Fast Saga has a habit of bringing beloved characters back from the dead. This makes Jakob Toretto’s death in Fast X possibly unbelievable.

InFast X,Jakob crashes his cannon-equipped car into Dante’s goons' vehicles, forcing the villain to veer off course. Jakob’s heroic action allows Dom to rescue his son from Dante. However, due to the huge explosion that Jakob’s maneuver causes, there is no way he can return inFast & Furious 11. While Jakob is a great character, it is actually good that he can’t return. After all, his death is one of the most emotional moments inFast X, and bringing him back for the final film would ruin it.

Jakob Will Join A Select Group Of Fast & Furious Characters Who Remained Dead

The Fast & Furious Franchise Has Brought Many Characters Back From The Dead

While a lot of characters have died in theFast & Furiousfranchise, not all of them have remained dead. In fact,if Jakob does stay dead, he would be one of the few majorFast & Furiouscharacters who dies and doesn’t return. Previously, Gal Gadot’s Gisele was one of the biggest characters on this list until she shockingly returned inFast X. Because of her return, Jakob is now the most notable character on the list, alongside Mr. Nobody.

Since it is the final film in the franchise, it’s possible that severalcharacters could return inFast & Furious 11. However, I really hope that Jakob is not one of them. Even though he is an interesting character and John Cena is a great actor,Jakob returning inFast & Furious 11would ruin one of the best moments ofFast X. Therefore, I hope thatFast & Furious 11breaks the franchise’s unwritten rule that every major character who dies must eventually return.
