What Happened In Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode #6?

Episode #6 Introduces Ignia the Fire God Dragon

After a fun little comedic segment,episode #6 ofFairy Tail: 100 Years Questcoaxes viewers back into the main battle against Mercphobia where Natsu continues to struggle as the Water God Dragon extinguishes every one of his attacks. Just then, Natsu is sucked up into the sky by a whirlpool and emerges being held by a giant red dragon resembling Igneel.

The red fire-breathing dragon mocks Natsu for being unable to subdue Mercphobia and attacks the town of Ermina, engulfing it in flames. The dragon then reveals himself to beIgnia, Igneel’s biological son,and reveals his desire to someday fight Natsu one-on-one when he is strong enough. Ignia explains that he and many other dragons fled from Acnologia 400 years ago and the five among them who survived became the so-called god dragons.

Eventually, they grew stronger than Acnologia and Ignia explains that he wished to defeat Acnologia himself to test his strength. However, he heard that Natsu had defeated Acnologia and thus came to Ermina out of curiosity, but was let down by Natsu’s weakness. Ignia thus challenges Natsu to a battle in the future and tells him to grow stronger till then, urging him to eat his flames and use them to defeat Mercphobia, after which he departs.

Despite his initial reluctance, Natsu eats Ignia’s flames and awakens a new form of Dragon Force, defeating Mercphobia with the support of the rest of his friends. However, Lucy is forced to stop Natsu from completely killing Mercphobia when he loses his senses and goes into a blind rage. Fortunately, a hug from Lucy is all it takes to calm Natsu down who immediately collapses at the end of the episode.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode #7 Will Commence the Next Leg of the Quest

With the big battle against Mercphobia finally concluded and the threat resolved, episode #7 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will likely see Natsu and the rest embark on the next leg of their journey on Guiltina. The upcoming episode will likely delve into the aftermath of the battle particularly the damage done to the town of Ermina and how the battle will have affected Mercphobia himself.

Episode #7 will also likely reveal more about the other God Dragons that Natsu and his friends are expected to seal as part of the titular 100-year quest. The Water God Dragon’s rampage in the previous episodes has helped establish just how powerful the God Dragons truly are and, with Ignia’s appearance, the overarching plot of the story has also instantly gotten much more intriguing. At present, it appears as though Ignia may just be the final boss of the series, especially due to his personal connection to Igneel and Natsu.

Other than that, episode #7 may also finally check back in with the White Mage and the wizards of Fairy Tail guild back in Ishgar, who have not make an appearance at all sinceepisode #5 ofFairy Tail: 100 Years Quest. With the White Mage still roaming free, the Fairy Tail guild and all of its members are still in grave danger and their fate will hopefully be revealed soon in the upcoming episodes ofFairy Tail: 100 Years Quest.
