Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breachintroducessome of the most unique animatronics in the entire series. A new set of four main characters, with Freddy Fazbear still in the lead, ushers in a new shiny era forFNAF. Players are introduced to Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex, a sprawling compound with endless entertainment options and new animatronics around every corner.
While some of these animatronics are friendly and helpful, the majority areterrifying monsters that will stop at nothing to hunt down and eliminate the protagonist Gregoryas he makes his way through the Fazbear Pizzaplex. Some of these animatronics are much scarier than others, while others just serve to provide occasional jumpscares or appear for singular moments in the game.

11Glamrock Freddy
The Friendliest Freddy In The Series
Glamrock Freddy iseasily the least threatening animatronicinSecurity Breach. The friendly bear is the first animatronic that Gregory interacts with and the only constant companion he has throughout the entire game.Freddy can be upgraded with various partsfrom other animatronics, retrieved through violent encounters, a process thatmakes him look slightly weirder but never scary.
Why This Animatronic Is The Most Underrated Villain In Five Nights At Freddy’s
Five Nights at Freddy’s next game should focus on one of the most sympathetic, yet evil, villains in any horror game, introduced in Sister’s Location.
Despite the AI for the character sometimes causing him to stare at Gregory for weirdly long times, Freddy never does anything that would cause harm to the protagonist. In fact, he often carries Gregory around in his chest to protect them, whichmakes him the cuddliest Fredbear in the entireFive Nights at Freddy’s series.

10Wet Floor Bots
Harmless But Always Watching
The adorable Wet Floor Bots can barely even be counted as a type of animatronic inSecurity Breach, but their constant presence around the Pizzaplexcan cause a sense of unease despite their lack of action. Bright yellow with little bear ears on top, theWet Floor Bots simply stand in place and stare, slowly rotating as Gregory moves past them.
Like Glamrock Freddy, the Wet Floor Bots are more cute than threatening, but they’re still eye-catching enough for even the king ofFive Nights at Freddy’s, Markiplier, to add sound effects to their every appearance in his playthrough ofSecurity Breach.Though their appearance in theRuinDLC forSecurity Breachdoesn’t affect their scare level in the base game, their function in the DLC is still a significant payoff.

9Roxanne Wolf
Insecure and Violent
Of all the Glamrock enemies inSecurity Breach,Roxanne Wolf is the least scary. From her very first line in the game, Roxy comes off as more insecure than frightening. She’s constantly reassuring herself that she’s the best and no one is cooler than her, a sentiment supported by the surplus ofcosplays fans have made of Roxy. Like all the other Glamrock animatronics, Roxy patrols a certain area of the Pizzaplex. Players don’t see Roxy nearly as much as other animatronics, like Chica, so she has far less time to make an impression.
Unfortunately for Roxy, the game mechanics do the most to make her less scary. After losing her eyes, Roxy will charge straight at what she believes to be Gregory. It’s a simple matter of avoiding her beeline and getting her to break down obstacles in the room. After players have learned how easy it is to avoid Roxy and even have her work to their advantage, her fear factor goes down considerably.
8Montgomery Gator
The Biggest Glamrock Animatronic In The Pizzaplex
Due entirely to his bulky size,Monty is one of the more threatening animatronics inSecurity Breach. Like Roxanne Wolf, he has less of a presence throughout the game due to mostly appearing in one area of the Pizzaplex, but he makes the most of his time beyond his time patrolling the halls.
All Animatronics in FNAF 2, Ranked Least To Most Scary
The many animatronics of Five Nights of Freddy’s 2 are all terrifying, but some rank much higher than others in their appearance and behavior.
Monty is confident and straightforward in his personality, which lends well tohis attack style of leaping directly at Gregory. His charismatic demeanor is fun, but it quickly becomes scary, as he has no qualms with winking at Gregory before immediately lunging for the kill. Monty is bothiconic and terrifying, likemost of the characters inSecurity Breach.
7Glamrock Chica
Insatiable Hunger And Pizza
Unlike the other Glamrock animatronics, Chica doesn’t have much of a personality, which is whatsingles her out as the scariest enemy of all the original four. Chica’s only unique trait is loving pizza, which does make her slightly funny during missions that use the food to distract her. Other than that, Chica spends the majority of her time roving the halls of the Pizzaplex, occasionally shrieking and assuring Gregory that he’ll be safe with her.
Chica’s fear factor only goes up after her beak is smashed. The missing mouth gives her a gaping hole that cracks across her entire face, and her stolen voice box makes it so that she can only give inhuman screams. All in all, Chica is the most frightening due to her lack of a personality for players to empathize withalongside her more animalistic behavior in the later stagesofSecurity Breach.
6DJ Music Man
A Giant Spider With A Wide Grin
The biggest animatronic in the entire game or even the entire series is DJ Music Man.The giant spider-like DJ presides over the Fazcadeand is one of the few animatronics to appear for only one major moment in the game. Once players spot the giant, there’s no doubt that he will absolutely become an enemy at some future moment in the game, adding some long-simmering tension. For DJ Music Man, that moment ends up beinga terrifying chase through a very long hallway.
DJ Music Man ranks highly as one ofSecurity Breach’s scariest animatronics due entirely to his size and his spider behavior, as the animatronic prefers to crawl on walls around the Pizzaplex. The only solace for players is that after the chase, DJ Music Man loses interest in the pursuit and goes back to his music. However, his one moment of aggressively pursuing the player is a standout sceneinSecurity Breach.
5Wind-Up Music Man
Smaller, Vent Sized, Spiders
Wind-Up Music Men are smaller versions of DJ Music Man whoexclusively reside in some of the ventsaround the Pizzaplex. Although DJ Music Man’s size works to his advantage, theWind-Up Music Man animatronics rank just abovetheir larger counterpart becauseplayers encounter them much more frequently and in a much smaller space.
Has Five Nights At Freddy’s Ruined Horror Games?
With the huge success of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, mascot horror continues to dominate, but is it doing more harm than good?
Anytime Gregory must access a new area through the vents, there’s a chance the player will suddenly hear the skittering footsteps of a group of Wind-Up Music Men rushing through the tight space. It’s an effective use of sound design that always instills a sense of dread.
4S.T.A.F.F. Bots
“Take A Map.”
Security Breachdoesn’t have many jumpscares, instead focusing on atmosphere and enemy encounters. The big exception, however, lies in any encounters with the S.T.A.F.F. Bots, which willjumpscare the player out of nowhere to hand Gregory a map or a passfor unlocking another section of the Pizzaplex. The roving bots also roam the halls of the building to patrol for trespassers.
This makes them a more consistently stressful enemy for players to navigate around, at least until they getaccess to the Fazerblaster stun gun. Visually, the S.T.A.F.F. Bots are not very scary, buttheir constant presence and the chance for a jump scarecan make players rightfully scared of seeing them around.
3Endos
Walking Skeletons In The Dark
The Glamrock Endoskeletons aresome of the scariest animatronics to come out of the entireFive Nights at Freddy’sfranchise. The lanky monsters only dwell in the darker parts of the Mega Pizzaplex and rapidly approach the player whenever they’re not in eyesight, much like the Weeping Angels fromDoctor Who.The Endos move in a jerky, sudden fashionthat adds to their unsettling presence.
What makes these unique enemies even scarier is how inhuman they seem. Without the candy-colored shell of Glamrock Freddy or Chica, every animatronic isjust a metal skeleton with bulging eyes. No personality, no feelings, just a group of monsters in the dark.
2Daycare Attendant
Don’t Turn Off The Lights
The Daycare Attendant, with his dual personality of sun and moon, is one of the most unique animatronicsintroduced inSecurity Breach. This lanky character is dressed like a classic carnival worker and works in the daycare for small children in the Fazbear Pizzaplex. The Sun part of the Daycare Attendant isoverly friendly to the point of being annoying, with a squeaky voice and happy-go-lucky attitude. Butonce the lights go out, he becomes one of the scariest animatronicsin the game.
After pleading with Gregory to never turn the lights off, which inevitably happens, the Attendant’s face turns to the Moon self. His voice becomes deep, and he starts to stalk Gregory around the daycare through tubes and slides. What makes the Attendant so terrifying ishis own fear of becoming the Moon and the setting for his transformation. Players are forced to scramble throughclaustrophobic and confusing playsetswhile looking for opportunities to distract the Attendant for a short time. In addition to his personality, the Attendant has an unsettling acrobatic style of movements that is unique in the Pizzaplex.
