Every Death In From Season 3 Explained
The death toll continues to rise in From season 3 as more characters, both from the main and supporting cast, lose their lives in brutal fashion.
Screen Rantinterviewed Elizabeth SaundersaboutFromseason 3. She breaks down the difficult and heartbreaking decision that her character was forced to make, and how she thinks she would handle it herself if put in that situation. Saunders also details what about these creatures is so terrifying to her and what it is like seeing the actors in full prosthetics on set. She admits how she feels she would react if stuck in this town, as well.

Elizabeth Saunders Thinks Donna Struggled With Her Decision To Kick Fatima Out In From Season 3
Screen Rant: This week saw Donna make a tough decision regarding Fatima. How do you think you would handle that situation, personally?
Elizabeth Saunders: It is a tough one. It is a tough one. I would waffle if I loved someone as much as Donna loves Fatima and Ellis. I think I would see what Donna sees. but Liz would go, “We can make a compromise.” I think my compromise could be, do we find a way to keep them in the house, or do we go, we’re going to get them out of the house, but we’re going to create a place for them.

Screen Rant: Do you think Donna struggled with that decision?
Elizabeth Saunders: I think she totally struggled with it. Yeah. There’s a lot of stuff going down to be struggling with it. She’s not having a lot of time. She can’t go and mull for an afternoon over a cup of tea.

The From Monsters Are “A Whole Other Level Of Unpredictable Now”
“We have no idea what they’re going to morph into, the way they could be anything.”
Screen Rant: What do you think it is about the monsters in the town that make them so terrifying?

Elizabeth Saunders: If they were unpredictable to begin with, they’re a whole other level of unpredictable now. And therefore, we have no idea what they’re going to morph into, the way they could be anything. We’re in a town that we’re trying to keep rules that just keeps giving us a set of monsters that have increasingly no rules. Or if they have rules, they’re crazy that how can you figure out what it is?
Screen Rant: What is it like to see the actors in full prosthetics on set?
Elizabeth Saunders: They’re creepy but I will say I’m so entranced. I don’t get to be with them a lot, but I’ll see them around base camp and occasionally see a dummy version of one of them lying under a trailer. Surprise. But I’m so, so fascinated by the work, artistically, that Patrick and Michael do and everybody on the team. Patrick Baxter heads it up and Michael is sort of his main man.
I think it’s so beautiful, not physically, but the artwork is beautifully done. It’s beautifully executed. I wish I could do it. I would go to the workshop with Patrick Baxter to learn how to make monsters. Maybe if we have a next season, we don’t know yet, but if we have a next season, I’ll ask if I can help pop in and make part of a monster. It’s so cool. So that overrides it for me with creepiness.
Elizabeth Saunders Says She Felt Lonlier As Donna In From Season Than Ever Before
“I don’t think she knows he’s her best friend, but from the outside looking in, Liz kind of goes, I think Donna just doesn’t know, but Boyd’s her best friend.”
Screen Rant: What were you excited to explore with Donna inFromseason 3?
Elizabeth Saunders: Because it comes each episode, it’s hard for me to say what it would have been, because I never know going in. So it kind of builds organically, but I guess, in retrospect, the cracking the tension while trying to keep it going.
And in a way, I think I felt lonelier this season as Donna. I think in a way, Boyd is her best friend. I don’t think she knows he’s her best friend, but from the outside looking in, Liz kind of goes, I think Donna just doesn’t know, but Boyd’s her best friend.
Screen Rant: If you were trapped in this town, do you think you would step into a leadership role like Donna has?
Elizabeth Saunders: No, I would be like, “What do you need doing?” And I would try to do it. I tend to be that person. And then I mull things over and go, “Hey, here’s an idea.” But no, I don’t think I would go as far as taking on the Donna role. It’s a lot. She’s got a lot of people and she cares about everyone, but yeah, I think I would be Donna’s right hand man.
Screen Rant: What would you like to see for Donna in the future?
Elizabeth Saunders: I would like to see Donna go on a different kind of struggle, like a different journey that she is suddenly sideswiped and has to go on something that we weren’t anticipating, and she wouldn’t be anticipating having to go on. Selfishly, Liz wants to go in the caves.
I was watching, looking at Henry and Victor in the caves, finding Jasper, and I was like, I want to do that. But that’s me. Storytelling wise, I would just like to see her get whammed into something that she didn’t see coming. And she is now going to have to deal with something completely different.
I legit love watching it. There’s all these visuals that, even if you’re shooting, you’re not clocking necessarily because you’re not playing with that thing.
