As Phase 6 is approaching, the end ofThe Multiverse Sagais almost here, with Marvel Studios getting ready to get working onAvengers: DoomsdayandAvengers: Secret Wars. While several cast members have been confirmed, one major fan-favorite many have been waiting to hear about is Olsen’s Scarlet Witch.

In a new interview withThe Hollywood Reporter, Olsen was directly asked, since she is also working onPanic Carefullyin London, which is where the nextAvengersmovies will be filmed,if Scarlet Witch is expected to be inAvengers: DoomsdayandAvengers: Secret Wars. However, Olsen had the following response about whether Wanda is involved:

Thor, Captain Marvel, and Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

No, I’m back [in the States]. I just finished [Panic Carefully]. I’m moving on to filming a pilot for FX [called Seven Sisters].

What Elizabeth Olsen’s Response Means For Avengers: Doomsday & Avengers: Secret Wars

Her Return Is Still A Possibility

Even if Olsen may have said no,MCU fans are well aware that actors associated with the franchise are famous for having to mislead the public whenever asked about their involvement in upcoming Marvel Studios projects. While Olsen is going to be busy shootingherSeven Sisterspilot, that is one episode for a show that hasn’t even been picked up to series yet by FX, as it only has a pilot order. That is why Olsen may simply not be involved withAvengers: Doomsday, at least at the beginning.

All Marvel’s Avengers, Ranked By Threat Level

The MCU has introduced a litany of immensely powerful Avengers throughout Phases 1-3, but which of Earth’s Mightiest poses the biggest threat?

However, withAvengers: Doomsdayfilminggoing throughout the year,Olsen could always be part of the production later in 2025, and the same goes forAvengers: Secret Wars. Despite her declining that she is involved, it wouldn’t be up to Olsen to announce her return either way, as Marvel Studios would likely be trying to keep it a secret until they are ready to announce it. It wouldn’t be shocking if Marvel Studios is aiming to reveal Olsen’s speculated return to the MCU at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, which is why she is denying it for the time being.

Our Take On Elizabeth Olsen’s Response

More Clarity Is Still Needed

While Olsen’s response makes sense in light of her upcoming pilot, it would be shocking if Scarlet Witch isn’t inAvengers: DoomsdayandAvengers: Secret Wars. With Wanda being one of the most powerful beings in the entire MCU,she will be key in the upcoming war against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. Hopefully, more clarity will emerge about the Scarlet Witch’s future in the MCU, includingAvengers: DoomsdayandAvengers: Secret Wars, sooner rather than later.
