Dragon Ball Daima Episode #12 Release Date and Time

Dragon Ball Daimaepisode #12will open with Vegeta in a difficult situation, as he was devoured by the monstrously huge Kraken while battling against Tamagami Number Two. Vegeta’s fight was going alright prior to the Kraken’s appearance, but that may not matter now that he’s been eaten.

Dragon BallDaimaepisode #11saw the creation of another new Majin creature, this time one by the name of Majin Duu. Majin Duu seems to be even more like Buu than Kuu was, with the fat body-type and a strong desire for chocolate. Majin Duu also seems to be more powerful than Kuu was, and Kuu already held his own decently well against Tamagami Number One. Could Majin Duu actually stand a chance at defeating the Tamagami and obtaining the Dragon Ball? The only way to find out is to tune in for episode #12 ofDaima.

When Do New Episodes of Dragon Ball Daima Release?

Dragon Ball Daimapremieres new episodes each Friday at 8:45 AM Pacific Time, or 11:45 AM Eastern Time.Thus, fans can expect episode #12 to air onDecember 27, 2024, at 8:45 AM PT/11:45 AM ET.Because of the premier being so close to the Japanese airing time, episodes will initially be available only in Japanese with subtitles. An English dub ofDragon Ball Daimais being produced, and will debut on July 21, 2025 on Crunchyroll, although the first three dubbed episodes did have a sneak peek event on November 10-12, 2024.

Majin Duu Is Born

As Goku’s group was preparing to leave the Namekian homeworld, they were approached by Neva, the creator of the Demon Realm Dragon Balls. Neva was impressed that they had defeated a Tamagami already, and suggested that he accompany them for the rest of the journey, as they would need his ability to speak Namekian in order to make a wish on the Dragon Balls once they had all three. The group agreed, and Neva boarded the plane with them as they headed for Tamagami Number Two.

Meanwhile, Arinsu returned to Marba, disappointed with Kuu’s performance and hoping to try again.They whipped up yet another Majin,this one dubbed Majin Duu, who had a greater concentration of Buu’s essence and was thus much more Buu-like than Kuu was. Majin Kuu was actually excited at the prospect, considering Duu to be his brother. Like Kuu, Majin Duu was immediately taken to face off against Tamagami Number One, and the fight began, with the two parties seemingly evenly matched.

At the same time, Goku’s group arrived at Tamagami Number Two, and Vegeta began fighting it. The Tamagami saw Neva and knew the fight was serious, so it didn’t hold back, tossing Vegeta into the ocean, where he attracted the attention of a nearby Kraken. While it seemed Vegeta had escaped the Kraken, it followed him out of the water, and with one last hit, Vegeta was sent flying into the Kraken’s open mouth.

Vegeta Must Escape the Kraken’s Belly

Episode #12 ofDragon Ball Daimais entitled “True Strength.” Based on the preview,Vegeta will be trapped in the belly of the Kraken, while Goku will have to find a way to defeat this gargantuan foe if there’s to be any hope of rescuing Vegeta.While that’s going on, Majin Duu’s battle with Tamagami Number One will continue, and it looks like the Tamagami may well be brought to its knees by Duu, although whether that’s enough to claim victory remains to be seen.

The creation of Majin Duu is certainly an unexpected twist to the story, and two powerful Majins running around could spell trouble for Goku’s group, especially if they’re able to claim the One-Star Dragon Ball. While Vegeta’s survival isn’t really in question, it will be interesting to see if Vegeta manages to escape due to Goku’s help, or due to his own power, as the episode title might lead one to believe. Could it be that Vegeta will discover some new form that will help him to escape his predicament?

Dragon Ball Daimaepisode #12 should be an exciting one, with two major battles happening simultaneously once again. Majin Duu’s performance will be especially interesting to watch, since his power level is still pretty much unknown.
