DC’s Evil Green Lantern-Inspired Amazo Reveals Epic Mech Suit inAbsolute Power: Task Force VII
Fans are introduced to Jadestone at the beginning of the issue, buthis ultimate form—a massive Green Lantern mech suit—comes later. So far, fans have met Last Son, Depth Charge, and Amazo-N, but Jadestone stands out with his unique design. While the other Amazos have mostly retained their original, basic designs, Jadestone’s new form is particularly notable and extremely badass. Although the mech suit design was teased in cover art,Absolute Power: Task Force VII#3marks the first time fans see it in the narrative.
‘The Amazo-N’ is not the official name of the Wonder Woman-inspired Amazo, but is rather Screen Rant’s nickname for the currently unnamed villain.

Jadestone’s mech suit construct emerges after his intense confrontation with the Justice Society of America. During the attack, the Amazo stole the powers of Stargirl, Salem the Witch Girl, Hourman,Green Lantern Alan Scott, and others. It was Alan’s powers that granted Jadestone his formidable Green Lantern abilities, enabling him to create his impressive mech suit. Besides absorbing Alan’s Green Lantern willpower, Jadestone also inherited free will, adding a layer of unpredictability to his character. While he currently follows Waller’s commands, his autonomy suggests that this allegiance could shift at any moment, making him a wild card in the ongoing battle.
Jadestone Proves Green Lantern’s Willpower Trumps Magic in Epic Oblivion Bar Fight
Jadestone’s mech suit is particularly notable as he debuts it by taking on dozens of magic users at the Oblivion Bar, demonstrating that Green Lantern’s willpower can triumph over even the most potent magic. Among the notable heroes and villains he faces are Blue Devil, Red Devil, Monkey Prince, and Felix Faust. Despite this formidable lineup, the Amazo emerges victorious, showcasing an impressive display of the corps' power. Although Jadestone had absorbed other heroes’ powers prior to the bar fight, he primarily uses the Emerald Knight’s abilities in this confrontation. Thus, it is safe to say thatGreen Lantern’swillpower trumps magic.
