As such, this new and final issue ofInquisitorssees Vader assembling the Grand Inquisitor, Fifth Brother, and the Seventh and Ninth Sisters to face Tensu Run together.However, Darth Vader himself also arrives on the scene to ensure that his will is finally carried out:
Promising that Tensu Run will be nothing more than a forgotten relic of the extinct Jedi Order,Vader is shown using the Force to throw the Jedi Knight around like a rag doll after unleashing the fury of his Inquisitors upon him. The argument is made in this newStar Warsseries that if Tensu Run had simply kept a low profile with his followers, he might have been able to gain a bigger base of power and resistance than he did. However,the Grand Inquisitor’s murder of Tensu’s master led to Run’s decision to face the Inquisitors directly.While Tensu did defeat each one he faced, this guaranteed his showdown with Darth Vader himself and all the Inquisitors at once, sealing his fate when he could have done so much morefor his people which the issue implies will now scatter and fade without their leader to inspire them.

Killing a battered and beaten Tensu Run with a dark swing of his lightsaber, Darth Vader personally murders Tensu Run himself at the end of this final issue before ordering theGrand Inquisitorto retrieve his head. However,Vader orders that the body should remain where it lay so that Tensu’s legend and legacy will eventually be forgotten by the rest of the galaxycurrently under the Empire’s rule and oppressive grip. To that end, Darth Vader’s sinister victory in this issue is one of his quickest Jedi battles while also being one of his most brutal, having unleashed both his command of the dark side and his Inquisitors with deadly power and force.
