The Demon Realm is a fascinating and expansive set of worlds inDragon Ball DAIMA, and with a new realm and expansion of the series' lore comes new and esoteric Dragon Balls. Created by Neva the Namek, this set of relics differentiates itself from other Dragon Balls by only having three in total and larger than others like Earth’s or the Namekian variants. But inDragon Ball DAIMA’slatest episodes, more information begins to surface about their more significant differences, such ashowthere’s no need to find them and how they’re incredibly well-guarded.
Dragon Ball DAIMAintroduces the Demon Realm Dragon Balls as the first of their kind, supposedly with enough power to act as a contingency should Goku’s quest to rescue Dende turn sour. As Glorio guides Goku and Shin through the Third Demon World, Goku learns more about what makes these Dragon Balls special and true to form; he remains undeterred by the associated challenges. While the Dragon Balls of the Demon Realm are well-documented, according to their location ineach corresponding Demon World, Goku faces a different task gathering them inDragon Ball DAIMA.

Dragon Ball DAIMA’s Demon Realm Dragon Ball Locations Are Already Known
No Dragon Radar Required
InDragon Ball DAIMAepisode #4, Glorio talks to Goku about the Demon Realm Dragon Balls while roaming the Third Demon World, surprised by Goku wondering how to find them, as their locations are not a secret. Each Demon World gets one Dragon Ball, and seekers wishing to gather them must defeat the powerful Tamagami guarding them. The First Demon World’s Dragon Ball is seen being guarded just outside Gomah’s palace inDragon Ball DAIMAepisode #1, and Glorio confirms the Third World’s Dragon Ball is in the opposite direction from where they emerged from Warp-sama in episode #3.
Dragon Ball Daima Subtly Confirms the REAL Reason It Turned Goku Into a Kid, & It’s Heartwarming
Dragon Ball DAIMA brings back the kid in Goku, and by extension, the kid in all of the viewers watching as it celebrates 40 years of the franchise.
This creates many challenges for Goku and his friends, as it means thatBulma’s return inDragon Ball DAIMAwill not likely be to create a revamped Dragon Radar this time, but rather, as the group’s general mechanic.Goku is freshly depowered after being shrunk into a child, so fighting a Tamagami might be especially challenging, as it would be for Vegeta or Piccolo, but he sees the Demon Realm Dragon Balls either as a chance to reverse this curse or to rescue Dende. But another fascinating revelation about the Demon Realm comes inDragon Ball DAIMAepisode #4.

The Demon Realm Dragon Balls Are Declared “Originals” and Have Never Been Gathered
Goku and Friends Are Going to Make Demon Realm History
While otherDragon Ballstories have expanded the lore, such asZconfirming the Namekian Dragon Balls andSuperintroducing other variants like the Cerealian and Super Dragon Balls, the Demon Realm Dragon Balls are claimed by Glorio as the originals. Given the Demon Realm origins of the Namekians, it’s not far-fetched compared to other smaller variants, but the timeline, messy as it is, still suggests the Super Dragon Balls created by Zalama predate all others. However,Dragon Ball DAIMA’sposition on the timelinedoesn’t invalidateDragon Ball Super’slore about the original Dragon Balls.
Lore aside, Glorio also claims nobody has successfully gathered the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls in episode #4 ofDAIMA, which is naturally an appealing call to adventure for Goku. He remains unafraid and genuinely excited to fight Neva’s powerful guardian constructs and claim them as his prize. Whether this comes to pass is up to the viewer in the next episode ofDragon Ball DAIMA.
