Bethesda’sStarfieldhas just released the first DLC for the game, titledShattered Space, earlier this week. The new content expands the universe available to playersby bringing them to Va’ruun’kai, the homeworld of the theocractic House Va’ruun. There, players must investigate what happened to Anakskko Va’ruun, the Speaker of House Va’ruun, while working with House Veth’aal, House Ka’dic, and House Du’khelf to discover what caused a massive explosion in the capital city of Dazra.

Players make huge decisions inShattered Spacethat will reverberate throughout the universe, with most outcomes leading to a bad ending and only one seemingly good ending. WhileStarfield’s base game endingsmoothly leads into new gameplus,ShatteredSpaceends in a much more decisive way that decides the fate of a whole planetand, potentially, the whole universe.

You Can Keep Playing Starfield After Beating Shattered Space

Where Does The Adventure End In Bethesda’s Open-World Game?

Players can continue to playStarfieldafter finishingShattered Space, which is good since theDLC is already a little too shortand too light on new content to please fans. The DLC gives much more of a sense of finality than the ending of the original game, especially in regards to House Va’ruun. After making a few choices with lots of ramifications for the galaxy, like whether or not to restart the Serpent Crusade or which house should lead Va’ruun’kai, players can continue on their open-world adventures with the choices they made in the DLC.

10 Starfield Secrets & Hidden Treasures Most Players Will Never Find

Starfield, like many RPGs, features a lot of hidden details and Easter eggs. Although some are easy to find, others are known by only a select few.

Though unfortunately, it seems that these seemingly massive decisions do not have much of an impact on the actual gameplay ofStarfieldafter finishing the DLC. Some decisions will allow players to continue to access special DLC areas, so it might be best to knowwhat decisions will lock out endingsand access to content.

Some Decisions Cut Players Off From Other Endings

Gain A Nice House Or Begin A Religious War: The Choice Is Yours.

Depending on what decisions players have made, they may be cut off from certain parts of theShattered SpaceDLC, like being able to return to Var’uun’kai and live in a house on the planet. While some choices will end in an instant game over, like allowing Anasko and his phantom soldiers to activate the Scaled Citadel’s Gate and kill everyone on Va’ruun’kai, others will simply prevent the player from accessing the planet anymore.

The only decision that would cut players off from their permanent homes on Va’ruun’kai is if they say none of the three houses - House Veth’aal, House Dul’kehf, and House Ka’dic - are fit to rule. This will cause the three houses to kick the player out of the cityand out of the decision on if House Va’ruun should begin another Serpent Crusade against the rest of the galaxy.

Either decision about the Serpent Crusade will give the playeraccess to a home on Va’ruun’kai. However, deciding not to begin a universe-wide war against supposed heretics is generally accepted as the good ending forStarfield: Shattered Space.
