What The Brothers Trailer Reveals About The Film
Brothers Leans More Into Comedy Than Action
The ending frame lists the main creative team behindBrothers. In addition to Barbakow as director, the screenplay is written by Macon Blair and the story is by Etan Cohen (not to be confused with Ethan Coen of the Coen Brothers). Blair is an actor who has been in films such asBlue RuinandGreen Room, but he also has experience with screenwriting, including forI Don’t Feel at Home in This World AnymoreandThe Toxic Avenger. Cohen has penned works such asHolmes & WatsonandMen in Black 3, the latter of which alsostarred Brolin.
There are moments of elaborate stunt work, such as when a character falls from a building, but it overall seems to focus on the relationships between the lead characters.

Aside from the creative team itself, theBrotherstrailer gives a great taste of what this action-comedy is bound to be like. While the main characters do seem to be on the run from Fraser’s character, who wants his emeralds, the trailer leans a lot more into the comedy than the action side of it. There are moments of elaborate stunt work, such as when a character falls from a building, but it overall seems to focus on the relationships between the lead characters.

Brothers Is An Exciting Peter Dinklage Role

I’ve loved him in his wide-ranging roles, from the Emmy-winningGame of Thronesto his early performance inThe Station Agent.Brotherswill give Dinklage the chance to break free from a major franchiselikeGame of ThronesandThe Hunger Gamesto play an original character in an appealing comedy. TheBrotherstrailer already looks to be a great Dinklage role, and one I’m excited to see develop in the full film.
