This impressive worldwide total comprises just under $37 million domestic and $39 million internationally. Considering the movie was likely looking at a break-even point of between $30 million and $37.5 million, it was clearly a commercial success for Blumhouse in addition to a critical one.
McAvoy previously starred inSplit(2016), which was Blumhouse’s highest-grossing movie until the release ofFive Nights at Freddy’sin 2023.
Though Blumhouse has historically made a number of sequels to its horror hits, withM3GAN 2.0, for example, now confirmed to be on the way, theSpeak No Evilendingmakes it unlikely another movie will move forward.
