WWE 2K25is a great game to act out your wrestling fantasies without being in the ring. Although it’s good at simulating the experience of wrestling already, some parts don’t feel as realistic as they could be. Luckily, fixing this is just a few buttons away. The developers, Visual Concepts, gave you an easy way to make the matches as realistic as you want them to be.

Remember thatwhen you change the settings, it applies everywhere. So, if you only want to experience wrestling for a little while or maybe would rather have it for certain modes, you’ll need to go back and restore your settings. Also, remember that intergender matches inWWE 2K25have certain restrictions that will apply regardless of other setting choices.

How To Change Settings

Where To Go To Change Your In-Game Settings

Changing your settings inWWE 2K25can be confusing at first, but it’s easy once you get used to the menu. First, make sure you’re signed in to your 2K account and have accepted the terms and conditions. The game will not let you access any of the menus to change things until you do. Once that’s done, go ahead and head to the fourth menu on the right of the main menu. From there, pick EXTRAS and select GAMEPLAY.

WWE 2K25: All New & Returning Superstars On The Roster

Over 300 wrestlers will appear on WWE 2K25’s roster. Here are the ones who have been confirmed so far, and who’s new in this year’s installation.

A good idea is to watch the videos for every menu before making changes because they have to be watched or skipped once. It just saves you some time before you go out and check the gameplay post-settings fix. You willnot be able to change the blood settings for intergender matches. As far as any current settings restrictions go, it’s always possible that things will change with futureWWE 2K25DLCor updates coming down the road.

Best Slider Settings For Realistic Gameplay

The Right Settings To Use To Make WWE2K25 More Realistic

You’re going to be presented with a few menu tabs inWWE 2K25. The most important one is going to be GAMEPLAY. In Gameplay, change the settings to what is shown in the table below.Leave every other setting alone, as it is already set correctly for realistic gameplay by default:

Allow Possum Attack

On

Presentation would be the next mode, but that’s all up to you. It’s mostly about how to play the game and if you’re going to see HUD elements and such. If you want to get close to realism, remove all HUD elements, but most importantly, keep Gameplay Camera to STANDARD.

Is WWE 2K25 On Xbox Game Pass Day-One?

Unfortunately for wrestling fans, WWE 2K25 has not been announced as being available from day one on Xbox Game Pass when it launces in March.

The next menus you’re going to see will be about balancing. I’ve tried these settings out, and it doesn’t feel any more realistic. If anything, it just makes the AI engage in the denoted behavior more often than not, and it can be annoying. If you start making things lower than 50 on these sliders, they stop doing it and are arguably easier. I would justkeep the sliders at 50because wrestling is really fun as is.

The next menu goes into Targeting, which youshouldn’t be trying to turn offin any of the settings here. The spot you’re aiming for can be pretty confusing. So keep Indicators set to Players Only, and change Target Teammates to manual. I didn’t like messing with this setting much because it can feel more like you’re messing with how the game was designed than making it realistic.

Unlike other modes, theWWE 2K25season passyou can get with the game does not affect the settings for your play matches. All bonuses follow what you’ve set here.

Finally, the Mini-Game Settings. These feel more like difficulty bars. They’re going to decide how hard it is for you when you’re dealing with finishers and signatures. While I would say that it’s up to you to keep them anywhere, they are pretty easy. I’d suggestmoving most of them up to 70because that makes each feel as difficult as it should. The only ones that shouldn’t be moved to 70 are:

These are already particularly hard, sokeep them at 50or even lower them if they’re too hard for you. Otherwise, the pin and submission mini-game will be based on how you set up mini-games in the Gameplay menu. If you want them changed, you’ll have to go back and change them.

These are the settings that will keep things as realistic as possible. Keep in mind that this will change them in all matches outside of multiplayer. If you want to switch things back to before, you can always press the Default option shown on the lower left of the settings screen inWWE 2K25.
