Though it would be fun to return to Burton’s twisted world forBeetlejuice 3,it would probably be better to leave the story alone, especially if Burton himself has reservations about continuing. Though positive, the response to the sequel wasn’t quite as positive as the response to the original, and a third movie could see the critical response drop further as the story is stretched beyond its natural end point.
